Listen to propaganda from the EPA and MDE, and you would think “Climate Change” programs are about saving the environment, but you would be wrong.

Social Justice isn’t just a goal. It is a deceptive political movement based on socialism. It starts from a premise that individual rights should take a back seat to the collective in order to ensure some groups receive more equal treatment than others. Think of it as affirmative action on steroids. As a practical matter, it is a means of cultivating class envy.

In Part 1 of Government Spending Cuts, we exposed the tricky techniques government uses to increase spending while claiming it is cutting. Taxpayer failure to understand these concepts is one of the reasons why governments at all levels continue to expand, because governments’ so-called cuts are not real cuts.

The average salt-of-the-earth common-sense citizen knows what a “CUT” is. If this year I spend $100, but next year I spend only $99, it’s a “CUT”. So what’s happening? Government deliberately uses illegitimate definitions of a “CUT,” but depends on you to subconsciously apply a correct definition of a “CUT”.

Do officials lose the right to pray as they deem appropriate based on their belief and conscience, and do political enemies have the right to censor officials’ prayers based on terms they simply claim are offensive? Does the Constitution guarantee protection from being “offended?”

Nullification is real. The left has been doing it for the past decade. When jurisdictions across America perform gay marriages in direct violation of the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA), they are nullifying it. When large numbers of jurisdictions across America declare themselves “sanctuary counties” for illegal immigration, in direct violation of federal immigration laws, they are nullifying them.

Multiculturalism can be a good thing; especially when used to teach tolerance for individuals who are different than us. However, it is no different than medicine or chocolate … too much of it taken indiscriminately can make you sick. There is a fine line between tolerance and endorsement. What happens when we endorse cultures that do not share our beliefs relating to human rights, respect for law, and the pursuit of happiness for all people?

I never deny climate change… the climate has been changing since the beginning of time. I simply reject hysteria and theories that suggest catastrophic anthropogenic (man made) CO2 based climate change is occurring. There’s a reason the left has changed vernacular.

So called good intentions of government rarely produce desired results, and frequently yield destructive outcomes. This is because education and intelligence do not guarantee good decisions. This brings us to the most misused buzzword of the 21st century… Sustainability. It sounds good, but the problem is, the word has two meanings.
