He’s Not There!

He’s Not There!

During the time of the early Church, when one believer would greet another, he would say “He is risen!” And the other believer would respond “He is risen, indeed!” I’d love to see that brought back to the present day; and if not every time we greet our fellow believer, at the very least, on this Easter weekend.

Filling the Breach: Looking for a Hero

Filling the Breach: Looking for a Hero

News story after news story, they all have one common denominator; they cry out for one thing. “Where is our Hero? Who’s gonna’ come and rescue us out of this pit we’ve dug for ourselves?” Will there be anyone who will have the courage to “stand in the hedge and make up the gap?” Or will it be as it was with Israel; God said He could find no one?

IS Barack Obama a Muslim?

IS Barack Obama a Muslim?

I’m well aware of all the material written about his “Christian faith. Surely, if you’re above the age of 20 years, your life experience has taught you that just because someone claims something, doesn’t mean that they are telling the truth. And certainly, in Mr. Obama’s case, telling the truth in this particular matter probably wouldn’t win him any political points. Especially, had he been forthright before the 2008 election.

He Said WHAT?

He Said WHAT?

You’d think, by this stage of the game, that nothing those on the left say, or do, could shock me any longer. I discovered, just a few days ago, however, that it’s not so. I woke up one morning earlier this week, to read the headline “Americans Work too Much, Anyway.” Sounds benign enough, right? And probably true. America is full of “work-a-holics.” What almost sent me into apoplexy was the reference for that statement.

The Left’s ‘War on Women’ Sleight- of- Hand

The Left’s ‘War on Women’ Sleight- of- Hand

The Left learned a long time ago that they don’t have facts, logic, and reason on their side. The only way they can make a “case” for any given topic is to charge it with as much emotion and histrionics as possible. Where emotion-driven ideology is concerned, one of the most successful of those tools is the Left’s “War on Women.”

No Future in Community Organizing

No Future in Community Organizing

In what started out as a Town Hall meeting, where the “Reverend” Al Sharpton had been invited to discuss solutions to the gun violence in Chicago, what transpired was nothing short of phenomenal. On many different levels. What was meant to jump-start a discussion of the solution to gun violence turned into something that I’m sure “Rev.” Al could have had no way of anticipating.

How Low Can We Go?

How Low Can We Go?

“What has happened to America?” We’ve all heard this question asked many times, and probably even asked it, ourselves. And if we’ve given it any kind of meaningful thought, we know there is not just one thing that has gone wrong with our wonderful Country, but a combination of many things, on many levels.

‘I’m Offended!’

‘I’m Offended!’

Well…once again…it’s that time of year. Another “Holiday Season” is in full swing! Everywhere you look…from the heart of the downtown district, to the sleepy little “bedroom communities” of the suburbs; even to the remote countryside between cities and towns, you’ll see the signs of the Season. The holiday formerly known as “Christmas.”

A Lesson in Politics From Aunt Bee

A Lesson in Politics From Aunt Bee

I’m probably one of the biggest “Andy Griffith Show” fans that ever lived! The good news is, there are honest people out there, like the character of Aunt Bee. Though they’re becoming harder to find, there are still people out there that are willing to change their minds…if the evidence is compelling enough; and if they’re open to truth. (That one is extremely important. If they don’t care about truth… you’re wasting your breath.)
