Another fairly recent and notable example of our political system run amuck occurred when alleged ‘social extremist,’ Scott Garrett, became a surprising casualty of the LGBT-driven civil standard.

Looking closely at the answers given by Neil Gorsuch to the senators and congressmen conducting the confirmation hearings have sent up red flags for all those hoping that Gorsuch will be the hero who halts abortions and reels in the excesses of the LBGT, namely Obergefell.

Marriage between one man and one woman is God’s perfect plan for us, one of the first, most basic and essential things we learn about in the very first chapter of the Bible. In the battle for God’s holy institution of marriage, as of late there has not been a lot of encouraging news. The problem confronting us however has roots going back more than 100 years. The nose of the camel came into the tent with miscegenation laws which largely began after the War Between the States. What this meant is that civil government claimed it had a rightful jurisdiction over what marriages would be legitimate and what would not.

This week, we learned that President Donald Trump’s “conservative” “pro-life” judicial nominee believes the “right” to murder your own child in the womb is “the law of the land,” and so is the “right” to counterfeit marriage, and that illegal aliens are “undocumented immigrants.” If that’s “conservative” and “pro-life,” then I guess I’m not a conservative.

Barronelle Stutzman the owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland, Washington was ruled against by the Washington State Supreme Court. In 2013, a multi-year repeat customer asked her to provide the floral arrangements for his upcoming homosexual un-wedding ceremony. Mrs. Stutzman politely refused, explaining it would violate her religious beliefs on marriage.

We conservatives often ask yourselves why we are losing the culture left and right. We wonder why it is the political Left seems to win almost all of the battles, and public opinion just keeps slipping further and further away from the traditional values that made America the greatest place on earth. Maybe it’s because we help the enemy so much.

It should be clear that what motivates the pro-homosexual movement is not advancing a free and tolerant society. It is promoting a society that legitimizes their point of view and punishes, as severely as possible, those that reject it. This is fascism, not freedom.
