Grow Up, or Live Under Tyranny

college_readingAmerican college students are not the hope of our future. They are childish and irresponsible because they are taught to believe in a fantasy world. Rather than preparing young adults to become adept at navigating a life-course in the real world, colleges are now molding students into the sort of useful idiots that will enable the growing tyranny to eventually make us all slaves.

One of the prime elements in the foundation of freedom is the universal right to express choices, thoughts, opinions, beliefs and convictions. In America, this right is enshrined in what we call “freedom of speech”, “freedom of the press”, “freedom of religion” and “freedom of association”.

In fact, the right to say what you think is so basic, that it is at the heart of all of our freedoms. Without the freedom to express ourselves, life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is impossible. But what is being taught in colleges today isn’t free speech, it’s “politically correct” speech — speech that is suppressed because it is “officially” deemed offensive.

This current point of view strikes at the heart of freedom of speech. It gives those who are supposedly “offended” a right that others do not have — the right to silence and muzzle those with whom you disagree.

The infantile nature of the present news flurry is that someone wrote Donald Trump’s name in chalk on a college campus. Some students were so upset about this that they complained to the college President that these scrawlings were “hurtful” and “frightening”. Therefore it seems that the solution for this gross trauma is to spend college resources to give succor to these “victims” by seeing that they get counseling. My, oh my!

Next month I will turn 71. Unfortunately, that makes what I have to say irrelevant to college-age kids. They could care less about what I have to say, and would shut me up, if they could. Nevertheless, I say they are being childish. They are acting like babies.

America has not only been dumbed-down, we’ve been aged-down. Adults no longer evince maturity. A whole generation is opting out of maturity and eschewing its concomitant virtues of sobriety, responsibility, accountability and tolerance. This change has happened in my lifetime.

My world — my society and culture — has changed so radically, it’s as if I have moved to an entirely different civilization with entirely different values and beliefs. But I haven’t gone anywhere. It’s the country that has changed.

When I was young — when people knew what freedom of speech meant — we used to say with great conviction, “Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.” But now the brain-washed babies in college cry, “Their words hurt me! It’s not fair! Make them stop!”

As I see it, we have a choice. We can either see to it these babies grow up — and by that, I mean assume a mature and responsible social attitude — or we can prepare to live under tyranny, with no freedom to pursue life, liberty or happiness.

And just in case you don’t get me, that’s what we meant in the 60s when we talked about, “Doing your own thing”. But, babies throwing tantrums are a real bummer and they’re bringing it down, man.

The banksters need a war desperately right now. They’ve tried so hard in Syria and it just hasn’t worked. Now they’ve got crazy Trump actually saying we should stay out of the Middle East and focus on our own problems, and people are listening… What’s a self-respecting globalist financier to do?

Without the US military killing people and breaking things, there is no future growth path for them. So they send their puppets like Kasich and Romney out to talk up the fight against “evil” and threaten Russia and China, hoping to fool those dumb white ‘Murkins one more time into sending their sons off to die for God and Country and Goldman Sachs.

The IMF Jews are in bed with the Turks and NATO, they are worried about a Trump audit of the Federal Reserve… and about Trump and Putin teaming up to destroy them once and for all… Trump is a vote for peace, and peace does not make money for the weapon industry.

The pseudo secular media and their Zionist masters profit from destabilization policies all over the globe. Wake up.

Your “comments” are irrelevant. Neither are they really comments at all, but rants that spew forth your own particular geo-political views, which are not referenced in this article. Having said that, discussion that is cogent and on topic is welcome.
