Whoopi Goldberg Says Christians Can’t Work in Government

Whoopie_Goldberg_ChristianityPolitical genius Whoopi Goldberg is at it again.

Unloading on Kentucky County Clerk Kim Davis on a recent segment of The View, Goldberg told both viewers what she thinks about Christians working in government: go home. And don’t let the door hitcha on your way out. Said Goldberg (listen to the applause):

“if you make that decision that God is your boss, then you can’t work for the federal government.”

Ted Cruz 2016

As opposed to what, deciding that Obama is your god?

Is Goldberg advocating an Apartheid-type system wherein Christians are second class citizens without any constitutional rights or protections in the public square (hello, First Amendment)?  Is she saying keep your religious faith inside the four walls of your church on Sunday morning, period? Obey God, go to jail?

Did Goldberg catch the irony of advocating for “freedom” by restricting the freedoms of those with whom she may disagree? How does that work? And what’s next, “If you decide God is your boss, then you can’t vote?” Oh, and isn’t it nice to know that according to the Gospel of Saint Whoopi, only pagans may work for the feds?

Meanwhile, there are countries where Big Whoop will fit right in. Like China. Anyone want to help her pack?

Another person who thinks those who disagree with her have no right to an opinion. Does she really not see the sheer arrogance and hypocrisy of that?
