The Manipulation of Political Correctness

Ginni Thomas has a great interview at the Daily Caller of Stella Morabito.

Morabito is a former intelligence analyst who grew up in a Leftist family, but she came to see through the indoctrination of the Left and can now identify it for what it is.

Her writings at The Federalist got the attention of Rush Limbaugh back in June when he seemed fascinated by her piece on mass delusion. A subsequent related piece is here.

In this exclusive video interview with the Daily Caller News Foundation, she details how the left uses mass manipulation techniques to confuse Americans and grab power. She condemns conservatives for not even realizing the behavior modification techniques being employed in the political square, such as those encouraged by liberals such as Cass Sunstein, who wrote the book “Nudge” or George Lakoff.

It was a project of cultural Marxists to capture the mediating institutions in our culture for ideological gain – the media, Hollywood, pop culture, academia and more. “If you push an agenda to centralize power, you need mass ignorance and effective propaganda.”

She is right to condemn conservatives, especially “Republicans,” for being oblivious to these techniques being employed in society. Our society is riven with this propaganda, from government sources, to the education establishment, and through all forms of media.

And sadly, over 90% of “Republicans” are lapping it up like a dog laps water on a hot summer day. South Dakota has a “Republican” supermajority in both the state House and Senate and a “Republican” governor, yet this “Republican” supermajority seriously entertains taxpayer funded health care for pregnant illegal aliens, and kills all manner of conservative bills including those intended to protect Christians from homosexual tyranny, as well as attempts to resist ObamaCare. There are really only two choices here to explain why “Republicans” would behave in this manner: (1) they are really Democrats with an “R” after their name (and I have no doubt that many are), or (2) they have allowed themselves to be deluded by politically correct propaganda and pee their pants at the thought of being cut off from the herd by expressing a politically incorrect statement or supporting a politically incorrect goal.

Morabito nailed it on the head when she said that so many of these people are “under the spell of political correctness” and have surrendered independent thought to “group think.” People are so blinded to the truth when they are caught up in this, that it really is like the proverbial “spell” that leads you to do things that you otherwise would be intelligent enough not to do.

My fellow Americans: be on guard against this Leftist propaganda. Learn to identify it in EVERY piece of information that comes your way.  And when you do, condemn it and make sure your friends know about this manipulation.  Take that propaganda and turn it around on the Left with truth.

This is why I don’t play along with the silly games culture now plays of calling men like Bruce Jenner “her” because he is confused and has mutilated his body to resemble a woman.  This is why I don’t play along with silly word games like calling two homosexuals sodomizing each other on a regular basis “marriage” or even “gay marriage.”  It is not “gay marriage.” It is not marriage at all.  It is counterfeit marriage.

(As Morabito notes in this video, the Left seeks to undermine society with this “genderless” garbage, which is why feminism, homosexuality, and transgenderism are pushed so hard by the Left–they create the confusion that is so essential to their overall agenda. If you can’t look between your legs–or people can’t look at your outward persona–and tell what sex you are and how you should behave, then what can you rely on as reality?)

Call it what it is. There is power in naming things.

Have you ever noticed that liberals HATE it when you call them what they are, when you call behavior and things what they are?  They try to silence the truth by calling you a “name caller” and hope that you’ll be “shamed” into not telling the truth by condemning you for “name calling.”  Remember, the most moral man who ever lived was a “name caller“–he called evil “evil,” wrong “wrong,” and bad people “bad people.” You don’t “name call” out of meanness or hate; you “name call” in order to clearly identify evil and make sure it is known for what it is.

The Left loves it when you’re desperate to be thought of as “Mr. Nice Guy.”  Evil people love it when you’re more worried about offending someone who is doing evil than you are worried about the corrosive effect of evil on our society and on the people within it.

When you are worried about people thinking you’re “nice” and not offending anyone, evil doesn’t have to expend the effort to try and silence or defeat you; you’ve already silenced and defeated yourself.

Don’t allow these destroyers of the greatest nation in history to intimidate you, and don’t indulge ambiguity or hostility toward reality in your society.  Take charge of what comes into your mind, and take charge of the truth that comes out of you.
