It is correct when viewing this election in terms of America’s continuation as a free and independent country or as one that will become enslaved as is the European’s lot.  The path on which our society has traveled in the last fifty years is not accidental. Neither are the intentions from a nucleus of socialist minded Americans who sadly have attained leadership positions. America needs the guidance of a traditional leader and Rick Santorum wears that white hat proudly.

This has been a while in coming, and it’s good to see the launch of Liberty Today by the Life and Liberty Group here in Rapid City. The broadcast is going out on KCPO TV and their affiliates across South Dakota. In the first installment, Ed Randazzo of the South Dakota Tea Party Alliance discusses taxes in South Dakota, former legislator Bill Napoli talks about the abuse of power from the state House “Republican” leadership, and Stacey Wollman of the Care Net Pregnancy Resource Center in Rapid City talks about the services her organization provides, as well as the coercion women often face to get an abortion.

Rep. Kristi Noem (R-SD) was in Rapid City yesterday and met with the city’s two Tea Party groups, the South Dakota Tea Party Alliance and Citizens for Liberty in a public forum.  The meeting was held at the South Dakota School of Mines Saturday afternoon. Rep. Noem began with a presentation on the federal budget, then spent the next 40 minutes or so taking questions on a variety of topics from the audience.

As we come near to the end of the “Great Experiment”, the Tea Party was founded and started to awaken American to our sobering fiscal realities and sought to holdWashington accountable for their actions. Thank Almighty God for this movement, but sadly and in all reality, this movement - as the little Dutch boy with his finger in the fractured dike - has only slowed down this consuming LEVIATHAN very minutely

My good friend Mark Skogerboe has been guest-hosting the Minneapolis-based Scott Hennen Show the past few days and he invited me on the show Tuesday for an interview. Mark is kind of the “godfather” of Dakota Voice and now American Clarion. We discussed the recent Conservatives of Faith meeting in Texas, a recent GOP debate, Tea Party happenings and other political items.

In the past four months, you’ve become too familiar with the Marxists of the Occupy Wall Street movement telling us, amidst their various unruly, disgusting, childish and destructive acts that “This is what democracy looks like.” Now we have Occupy Portland issuing a public announcement that they would hold a “family friendly” event, only to have their leader drops his trousers to proudly display his rear end and his junk.
