As the lights begin to come up and expose the cockroach RINOs of the GOP who like carrying the name “Republican” but don’t like doing the work of one, there has been a lot of scurrying for cover from the aforementioned critters. Once again, those who are committed to upholding the values, principles and platform of the Republican Party have been portrayed as the bad guys while being forced to endure the bleatings about “different opinions” and Reagan’s 11th Commandment. But was the 11th Commandment intended to provide cover for those who willfully undermine the Republican agenda?

The Family Research Council has released a 2012 presidential voter guide for the GOP candidates. Even though the scorecard takes the candidates at their word on the campaign trail even when their record differs, the differences are still very clear. The choices for a real Republican are very few, but are very good.

There has been a nasty stench in the South Dakota Republican Party for several years now. If you don’t follow politics too closely, you may not have noticed it, and even if you do, the whiff comes and goes. But thankfully, there are a few who are actually within the party and serve in elected office who are willing to rock the boat, who won’t go along with what the establishment tells them to shut up and do, who are willing to swing wide the door on that stench and allow the public to get a good smell of that decay that’s been rotting for so long inside. Lately, thanks to Rep. Stace Nelson and a few others, that door is opening and the light of truth is beginning to shine in.

In this video from 2002, an endorsement of Mitt Romney from El Mundo, a Spanish-speaking newspaper in Massachusetts (where the overhwelming majority of legal residents speak English, and have for over 300 years), is the topic of discussion when Mr. RomneyCare admits to being a “moderate” with “progressive” views-code for a liberal with liberal views who doesn’t want to admit to being a liberal.

Less than a month from the first presidential primary, the field remains uncertain… and somewhat less than inspiring. Mitt Romney wonders why no one likes him, Cain is out, Bachmann, Santorum, Paul and Huntsman don’t’ appear to be gaining traction and have little time for resurgence, and Gingrich is likely incapable of avoiding some form of self-immolation. So, is it too late for someone else to emerge from the wings?

It’s bad enough that homosexual activists insist on broadcasting their sexual disorientation in public. It’s also bad enough that some homosexual activists expose their children shamelessly to their perverted lifestyle. But it is growing more and more common for some of these activists to use their children as instruments to strike out at people who refuse to accept their fantasy version of reality. Consider this incident at a book signing by Michele Bachmann in South Carolina where a homosexual activist prodded her child to make a statement to Bachmann in an attempt to make Bachmann look bad.

This is extremely disappointing. I like Senator John Thune (R-SD) personally, as well as a number of people on his staff. Most of his votes have been good for South Dakota and the rest of the United States. Most of his votes have accurately reflected true Republican values. So why does he continually support RINOs?  He supported RINO John McCain in 2008, which guaranteed a loss to the Democrats, and now he’s endorsed Mitt “RomneyCare” Romney, which would guarantee another Democrat victory in 2012. Those who know me understand that I’m not a big Rick Perry fan.  Perry is far too weak in the area of illegal immigration and some other things to be what I would consider a good Republican candidate for president. But when I witness what can only be characterized as journalistic ineptitude or journalistic malpractice, I can’t stand idly by and watch even a candidate I don’t like be smeared and besmirched.
