Citizens for Community Values Action (CCV Action), the legislative action arm of Citizens for Community Values, has endorsed Rick Santorum for the Republican Party candidate for president of the United States.

Bob Ellis Interviewed on Scott Hennen Show
My good friend Mark Skogerboe has been guest-hosting the Minneapolis-based Scott Hennen Show the past few days and he invited me on the show Tuesday for an interview. Mark is kind of the “godfather” of Dakota Voice and now American Clarion. We discussed the recent Conservatives of Faith meeting in Texas, a recent GOP debate, Tea Party happenings and other political items.

Rush Limbaugh mentioned Jonah Goldberg’s latest column on his show yesterday. It deals with the fading illusion that has been fed to Republican voters by the GOP establishment that RINO Mitt “RomneyCare” Romney is the “only one who can beat Obama.” Its now being revealed as the horse manure it always was. The RINOs have gone out on a limb promoting a bad candidate, cooperating with the “mainstream” media, and now it’s almost too late to change course to nominate a real Republican.

So, what’s a conservative Republican to do with this field we have? The polls indicate that despite her strong conservatism, Michele Bachman is not a frontrunner. I am truly sickened that the so-called frontrunners appear to be Mitt Romney, Ron Paul and a floundering Newt Gingrich. It is heartening to see Rick Santorum gaining some steam, but he certainly does not have the money that Romney has.

In the 20-plus years that I have worked as a conservative activist, I’ve spoken on almost 200 university campuses — usually to Republican and conservative groups. Over time, I have observed changes in attitude among many young Republicans — and I believe these shifts help explain the rise of Ron Paul. Where young Republicans once had a sense of purpose and traditional values, now many don’t want to hear about “values” such as marriage, life, or family-just talk about the economy.

Some conclude that Republicans must water down the conservative message and nominate a moderate. But Americans crave answers, clarity and leadership. This call will not be answered by ambiguity. We need a conservative leader who unwaveringly believes that a return to freedom and moral clarity is what this nation needs.

As the lights begin to come up and expose the cockroach RINOs of the GOP who like carrying the name “Republican” but don’t like doing the work of one, there has been a lot of scurrying for cover from the aforementioned critters. Once again, those who are committed to upholding the values, principles and platform of the Republican Party have been portrayed as the bad guys while being forced to endure the bleatings about “different opinions” and Reagan’s 11th Commandment. But was the 11th Commandment intended to provide cover for those who willfully undermine the Republican agenda?

There has been a nasty stench in the South Dakota Republican Party for several years now. If you don’t follow politics too closely, you may not have noticed it, and even if you do, the whiff comes and goes. But thankfully, there are a few who are actually within the party and serve in elected office who are willing to rock the boat, who won’t go along with what the establishment tells them to shut up and do, who are willing to swing wide the door on that stench and allow the public to get a good smell of that decay that’s been rotting for so long inside. Lately, thanks to Rep. Stace Nelson and a few others, that door is opening and the light of truth is beginning to shine in.

Bill Whittle takes us through the Firewall to take a look at the Orwellian view of the “mainstream” media and others on the Left regarding politics. As you will see, people who want Americans to keep more of the money they have earned are evil, greedy jerks while those who want to take money from those who have earned it are “generous. But there are so many other differences between the two political ideologies…

Rush Limbaugh went “On the Record” with Greta Van Susteren. Limbaugh touches on a number of truths and answers several questions on many people’s minds today: Liberals have to lie about their agenda in order to get elected; Why Limbaugh hopes President Obama fails; The chip on Obama’s shoulder; Does Obama really believe that the nonsense he promotes will be good for America, or is he really an anti-American Marxist who wants to take down America?; Is there only one GOP candidate who can beat Obama?; The GOP establishment believes core Republican values are loser values; and more
