Senator Thune Rated ‘RINO’ by Heritage Action

There’s some interesting reading at ReadState about the Heritage Action rankings of Senate Republicans. Heritage Action is the advocacy arm of Heritage Foundation, the time-honored and respected conservative organization.

Answering The AWOL GOP

With this midterm, wouldn’t it seem as a given that the GOP hierarchy would be salivating for its next go around? Especially so since it was an election for the taking in 2012. Now added to the mix is Obama’s unauthorized policies which have cause untold harm to our country. What more incentive does the GOP require?

Choose: A Real Conservative or Big Government Cronyism

I received a nice big color slick mailer today from Many True Conservatives which points out the differences between conservative independent U.S. Senate Candidate Gordon Howie and RINO “Republican” Candidate Mike Rounds. Though some Republicans would rather Howie wasn’t in this race (to embarrass RINO Rounds), the differences are real, and they are big.

Campbell and DiSanto: Second Amendment Supporters

South Dakota Gun Owners and the National Association for Gun Rights takes a lot of flack from liberal “Republicans” for hitting RINOs over the head with their own weak records on Second Amendment rights. Unlike the National Rifle Association (NRA) which usually endorses whoever is the incumbent or favored candidate in a race, even if they’re a liberal Democrat, SDGO and NAGR don’t suck up to the halls of power.

Good reason for Mary Landrieu to be concerned

Good reason for Mary Landrieu to be concerned

Prospects that three term Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu will return to the US Senate to represent Louisiana for a fourth term are looking increasingly bleak. Senator Landrieu has good reason to be concerned. One reason is disenchantment among Louisiana’s black population, which amounts to 32 percent of the population of the state – the nation’s second largest black population percentage-wise.

Turning the Tables on the Left

Turning the Tables on the Left

It seems Leon H. Wolf at RedState is about as enthused at the prospects of a “Republican” victory in November as I am. Republicans: would you like to actually accomplish something next year? Would you like to be able to overcome Barack Obama’s propaganda? You can, if you are willing to fight.

What if Republicans DO Get Control of Congress?

What if Republicans DO Get Control of Congress?

As the 2014 midterm elections heat up… expect the Left and the Main Stream Media to do whatever it takes to secure a leftist socialist progressive Democratic win and keep its lawless, bulldozer “a” rolling. Nothing will be beneath them as they use any lawless means to accomplishing this goal. These will seek to incite and stir up the rage of the masses of socially, subjective, lawless government dependents, godless women and the majority of African Americans who have been oppressed by white liberals policies for decades.

Christian Coalition Publishes Flawed, Incomplete Voter Guide

The Christian Coalition emailed me about their 2014 voter guides today. I can’t speak to all of them, but the one for South Dakota is flawed and incomplete…an apparent trend among voter guides and endorsements from conservative groups this year.

GOP Already Waving ObamaCare Surrender Flag

GOP Already Waving ObamaCare Surrender Flag

The “Republicans” aren’t wasting any time in waving the ObamaCare surrender flag. They can’t even wait to (hopefully) get control of the U.S. Senate before they start surrendering (Hint: they already started surrendering to ObamaCare, long ago).

National Right to Life Publishes Inaccurate, Anti-Conservative Voter Guide

You can add another one to the list of pro-family groups you can no longer put your trust in. National Right to Life has, like the Family Research Council, sent out an inaccurate, anti-conservative voter guide. It leaves off the only candidate in the South Dakota U.S. Senate race who has a consistent pro-life record: Gordon Howie.
