Some of us predicted five years ago that embracing a culture of immorality and rejecting morality in the U.S. military would result in brutal assaults on freedom (and assaults on other things) within our armed forces. It didn’t take long before we started to hear the stories of Christian soldiers being hammered for continuing to stand for the moral values upon which our nation was founded.

As Americans everywhere honor and pray for the men and women who have served and are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces this Veterans Day, Family Research Council (FRC) and 15 other members of the Restore Military Religious Freedom Coalition are running an ad in Military Times’ publications informing service members that religious liberty advocacy groups stand ready to provide legal assistance should they experience a violation of their religious liberty rights.

The very troops who defend our religious freedom are at risk of having their own taken away. Last week, anti-Christian and left-wing activists met at the Pentagon with military officials to discuss pressing issues in the military. What issues would be of such importance to gain such a high-level hearing? According to these far-left consultants, religion is one of the chief problems plaguing our troops.

The title of the article is “Army morale low despite 6-year, $287M optimism program.” Gee, ya think? Wonder why? Considering the way our leaders have treated our troops and our military…

The homosexuals’ willingness…nay, their eagerness…to deprive other people of their rights and freedoms by their deliberate misuse of “equality” or “rights,” etc., reveals the true nature of this conflict. They have discarded thousands of years of human history, which has always deemed homosexual behavior as outside the norm, if not deviant.

This CBN report on the current state of the U.S. military highlights some of the points I made last night while discussing the military with my daughter. My daughter has a friend who will be leaving to join the Air Force soon (as I did some 29 years ago, and ended up serving 10 years).

The libs at the Argus Leader are peeing their pants over the recent victory for religious freedom in the Hobby Lobby case, and quickly turning it to fear monger support for the homosexual agenda. And believe it or not, our “Republican” governor Dennis Daugaard is on the wrong side.

This news segment and interview with retired Lt. General Jerry Boykin, former Delta Force and Special Forces commander, highlights the downward spiral of the character of our military forces. In an atmosphere where the Left is indoctrinating the captive audience of the military to accept homosexual behavior as normal, natural and healthy, where troops are punished if they refuse to accept the anti-moral indoctrination, where preference is given to immoral soldiers (the right kind of immoral soldiers, that is), it’s no wonder morality and good conduct are on a downward spiral.

A bill to protect clergy, lay officials, and religious organizations from homosexual activists who seek to punish them for not facilitating the counterfeiting of marriage was heard in the South Dakota Senate Judiciary Committee today. The bill was killed on a 4-3 vote in the “Republican” committee.
