I heard earlier today that former South Dakota Secretary of State Chris Nelson had endorsed South Dakota Senator Shantel Krebs in her bid for Secretary of State in the 2014 GOP primary. Then I came home to find a letter from Krebs in the mail, touting that endorsement.

I received a letter today from the National Association for Gun Rights concerning a candidate survey for South Dakota District 35 House candidates. It revealed some interesting information about all the candidates that you should know about if you value your Second Amendment rights.

The Argus Leader is talking about the Minnehaha County GOP “volunteer” effort to challenge to Republican Independent U.S. Senate candidate Gordon Howie’s petitions. The article contains an interesting quote from Dave Roetman, Chairman of the Minnehaha County GOP.

My sources tell me that the South Dakota Republican Party has bought themselves a copy of Gordon Howie’s petitions to run as an independent for South Dakota’s U.S. Senate seat up for grabs this year.

You’ve undoubtedly heard the Leftist claim that morality is relative, i.e. “What’s wrong for you may not be wrong for me,” implying that morality is simply a matter of preference and feeling. This pernicious lie is easily debunked, as my favorite thinker and theologian Ravi Zacharias demonstrates.

At the encouragement of the South Dakota Department of the Military, Gov. Dennis Daugaard has proclaimed May as “National Military Appreciation Month,” a time for all to honor, remember, recognize and appreciate those who have served in the past and those now serving, as well as their families.

In today’s America, if this atrocity was NOT reported on channel 13… it just didn’t happen. Today we look for validation of truth by whether or not it is reported on television. In other words, what’s in the idiot box has become what is real for us. What’s out here, in the real world, is not real for us unless we get confirmation from the tube.

There is a new wave of fascism afoot worldwide, and it is already aflame in America. When we speak of fascists and fascism, Nazi Germany usually comes to mind. We think of police states where dissent is crushed by the government and everyone is expected to sing the same tune and toe the line or else.

Breitbart reports that Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) is endorsing RINO Senator Susan Collins (R-MN). Some people are defending this action because Collins has no primary opponent, under the claim that “he’s endorsing her over the Democrat” not over a real Republican. Fair enough. But look at the language.

Conservatives have repeatedly warned that unconstitutional “hate crimes” laws would inevitably lead to laws against what is labeled as “hate speech.” Naturally, those on the Left have ridiculed such warnings, claiming that could never happen. As usual, the Left is wrong.
