New IRS 501C4 limitations will be imposed not simply on advocacy for or against a candidate for public office, as has been the case for over 50 years, but on any communication that even mentions a public official who happens to be a candidate. It applies blackout periods 60 days prior to the general election and 30 days prior to primary elections at the federal, state, and local level.

The Federal Communications Commission controls the broadcast licenses of every television outlet in the nation, and those licenses come up for regular renewal.

Failure to meet FCC standards can result in a station owner losing the license and millions of dollars. Now the FCC is planning on sending federal government snoops into newsrooms to ask questions about why a certain climate change conference was or wasn’t covered, why the reporters chose different spokespersons to present divergent points of view, etc.

This news segment and interview with retired Lt. General Jerry Boykin, former Delta Force and Special Forces commander, highlights the downward spiral of the character of our military forces. In an atmosphere where the Left is indoctrinating the captive audience of the military to accept homosexual behavior as normal, natural and healthy, where troops are punished if they refuse to accept the anti-moral indoctrination, where preference is given to immoral soldiers (the right kind of immoral soldiers, that is), it’s no wonder morality and good conduct are on a downward spiral.

Here in this land there is no one who can claim to be original. We are all descendants of immigrants to these shores. But I recall hearing about the immigrants that came through Ellis Island. They wanted to learn English. They wanted to breathe free. They wanted to become Americans and not to make America in the image of the decrepit land they were leaving. Now it appears too many immigrants come here with demands.

For over a century, their ‘enlightened’ agendas have been methodically implemented. Their lies and perversions have been upheld as a gold standard of free and critical thinking. They are gone but their legacy lives on.

The sanctity of the right to life is eroded any time society makes that right contingent upon someone else’s discretion. How far short of perfection or desirability can one fall and still be included in the human family? And what happens to one’s membership status if they become substantially diminished in their capacities, perhaps because of age or illness or injury? Does their membership then become revocable?

In the the 1977 miniseries, “Roots,” the most remembered and replayed scene for most people is the one where a young Kunta Kinte is being whipped because he won’t take a slave name. But the scene that should be the most remembered because of its troubling content is when a grown Kunta Kinte finds his old girlfriend Fanta on the Calvert plantation and asks her to run away to freedom with him. When she hesitates and starts making excuses, he asks her, “Will you stay a slave?!”
