Four Undeniable Truths

Four Undeniable Truths

In my lifetime, I have never experienced such a dramatic showdown determining whether my children and grandchildren will continue to live in freedom’s light. In what now appears to have been a glimmer of an instant, I jotted down four inescapable and undoing Obama truths during this brief respite. And darn, I’d be lying if I didn’t admit to feeling much better. Hopefully, you will too.

Top Five Reasons to Support Romney

If you’re a conservative, you’ve probably been wrestling over the question of whether to (a) vote for a liberal-with-an-“R”-after-his-name who is at or near the bottom of the barrel of Republicans who ran for president in 2012, or (b) vote for a third party candidate who has no hope of winning and thus help ensure Barack Obama wins another four years to make war against America. Trick-or-Treat: For or Against Either Schmo

It’s how most of us feel. We’re watching our favorite show on Hulu or listening to music on Pandora and then we hear a 30-second stack of lies, half-truths and a candidate having crafted the art of saying, “I’m so and so and I approve this message.” Yes. America’s Scariest Halloween Ever

America’s Scariest Halloween Ever

While listening to The War of the Worlds and the other spooky, old-time radio shows on Sunday night, it kept running through my mind that this will be the scariest Halloween in the history of the United States. I understand that many Christians shun this devilish holiday (an unholy day, in fact), but this Halloween, I can think of few things scarier than the prospect of the alien invasion of our government and nation “winning” on Election Day.

Vote Your Vision

Vote Your Vision

President Obama has said many times that this election represents a choice between two very different visions for America. Do we want to go back to the same policies that got us in so much trouble in the first place or do we want a fresh start for America, a new vision leading to a bright future for our nation? The President is absolutely correct. This election promises to be the most consequential in modern times. How you assess this choice, however, will be very different depending on whose candidate’s vision you share.

Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, Writing the Declaration of Independence, 1776

Without Virtue, There Can Be No Political Liberty

John Adams was born OCTOBER 30, 1735. A Harvard graduate, he was admitted to the bar and married Abigail Smith in 1764. In the Continental Congress, John Adams recommended Thomas Jefferson pen the Declaration and George Washington be Commander-in-Chief. John Adams authored Massachusetts’ 1780 Constitution and was U.S. Minister to France, signing the Treaty of Paris that ended the Revolutionary War. While U.S. Minister to Britain, John Adams helped ratify the Constitution by writing a three volume work: Defense of the Constitution of the Government of the United States.
