A Primary for Republicans Who Fund ObamaCare

RepublicanIn a follow up to yesterday’s call for Republicans to sign onto Senator Mike Lee’s letter against ObamaCare and Senator Ted Cruz’s legislation to defund ObamaCare, RedState provides this update with a renewed call to primary any Republican who votes to fund ObamaCare:

FreedomPoet_LincolnDay

Any Republican who chooses to fund Obamacare should be primaried. The advertisements write themselves. Republicans, by voting to fund Obamacare, are putting people out of work, driving up healthcare costs, and hurting families. Republicans are not listening to voters who hate the law if they fund Obamacare.

Right now in the Senate there are fifteen Republicans who have signed a letter saying they will not vote for any continuing resolution that funds Obamacare. They would rather the Democrats shut down the government than destroy lives by funding this legislation. Call these Senators today and tell them thank you and tell them to hold strong.

Republicans claim to be for the free market, against socialism, for limited government, for religious freedom, for the U.S. Constitution and personal liberty. It’s time they proved it.

I’m glad Senator John Thune has signed onto the letter. Now he needs to sign onto the Cruz bill to defund ObamaCare.

Republicans have nothing to lose and everything to gain by going to the mat over this unconstitutional abomination.

If you haven’t contacted your Republican senator(s), please do so as soon as possible. I have.
