A Call for Impeaching Lawless Judges

I just sent this letter to my federal representatives: Senator John Thune, Senator Mike Rounds, and Rep. Kristi Noem. I called for the immediate impeachment of the six lawless rogues on the U.S. Supreme Court who displayed their complete contempt for the U.S. Constitution and the American people by rewriting ObamaCare.

If you treasure freedom and the U.S. Constitution, you might consider contacting your representatives with similar correspondence.

Dear Senator Thune/Senator Rounds/Rep. Noem:

I am writing to ask that you immediately and forcefully seek to impeach the six U.S. Supreme Court justices who announced their decision this morning to ignore the clear limitations on their authority imposed by the U.S. Constitution.

ObamaCare clearly states that taxpayer subsidies would be provided only in states where an exchange was “established by the state.” This clearly does not include federal exchanges where the state did not establish an ObamaCare exchange.

The U.S. Constitution clearly provides authority only to the legislative branch to write laws. What Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Anthony Kennedy, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Elena Kagan, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor have chosen to do is rewrite existing law–an act which is clearly outside of their constitutional authority.

There can be no doubt that these six judges have made the willful decision to usurp powers not granted to them by the U.S. Constitution.

In doing so, they have violated the limitations on their authority set in place by “we the people” via the U.S. Constitution, and they have violated their oath to uphold the U.S. Constitution.

The U.S. Constitution says that all officers of the United States may be impeached and removed from office for “Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.”

What higher crime can there be than to violate our nation’s highest law: the U.S. Constitution?

It is your duty, as a representative of the people having sworn an oath to uphold the Constitution, to support and defend the Constitution. It has clearly been egregiously violated, robbing both the congress and the people of their rightful and constitutional authority.

It is now your duty to seek the impeachment of Chief Justice John Roberts, Justice Anthony Kennedy, Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Justice Stephen Breyer, Justice Elena Kagan, and Justice Sonia Sotomayor. If you do not, you have become complicit in their lawless and unconstitutional activity.

Thank you for your consideration.

    I really don’t think you have thought this through very thoroughly Bob.

    Leaving aside the fact that there is no way in heck Congress is going to impeach any Supreme Court Justice (only one has ever been impeached and the senate voted not to remove him) who do you think will replace them? Donald Trump??

      Do you contest the fact that these six U.S. Supreme Court justices have violated the U.S. Constitution and their oath to uphold the same?

        Yes Bob, I do contest that. One only need read Scalia’s dissent verses his previous dissent in NFIB v. Sebelius in 2012 in which he asserted “Without the federal subsidies … the exchanges would not operate as Congress intended and may not operate at all.” Roberts even quoted those words back at Scalia in the ruling today but Antonin is immune to mockery these days it seems.

        But forget all that. Do you really want to open up the possibility of losing Roberts and Kennedy while the other four remain because that’s honestly the best possible outcome of this scenario. Senate Democrats aren’t about to remove their four but they might just vote to remove the two conservatives if the GOP insisted on it.

        And of course that scenario is based on the extremely unlikely situation where an impeachment proceeding is started in the House AND the House votes to impeach the six.

        At some point you have to realize that tilting at windmills just causes hair loss.

          You’re either quite dense, or you’re eagerly buying into the false propaganda Leftists are already spreading around the internet about what Scalia said.

          Scalia was acknowledging that, operationally, the ObamaCare exchanges would not operate as the law intended them to operate under the ideal conditions assumed by ObamaCare proponents, where the federal government could theoretically succeed in bribing the states into going along with this unconstitutional scheme.

          As ObamaCare architect Jonathan Gruber admitted, ObamaCare was deliberately engineered to incentivize the states into selling out and joining the scheme. What they, in their Leftist arrogance, didn’t count on was that most of the states would say “No thanks.”

          It doesn’t matter whether I want to “lose Roberts and Kennedy” (who have already proven themselves to be worse than worthless when it comes to upholding the Constitution). What matters is that the U.S. Constitution has been assaulted (yet again), and we must not let that crime pass without doing all we can to (a) expose the violation to the horribly ignorant American people and (b) punish, if possible, those who treat our liberty with such pure contempt.

          At some point you have to realize that doing nothing in the face of tyranny invites more tyranny and assaults on liberty. You may be ready to be a serf, but I am not.
