Let us abide by the Constitution as it is written or amend it in the constitutional mode if it is found defective. — President Andrew Jackson, Farewell Speech, March 4, 1837

Piers Morgan: Counterfeit Marriage Activist

Counterfeit marriage illustration (two bolts)

The Obama Administration’s Ministry of Public Enlightenment (aka the “mainstream” media) is predictably aghast that the people of North Carolina would affirm what has been “duh-level” common sense for 6,000 years: that marriage can only be formed between a man and a woman. (The Obama Administration’s Ministry of Public Enlightenment, aka the “mainstream” media, probably thinks you can put two bolts or two nuts together and form something legitimate and beneficial, too).

Leftist Minister of Public Enlightenment Piers Morgan asked Family Research Council President Tony Perkins last night (as if Minister Morgan had never heard the answer before) why Perkins is opposed to marriage being counterfeited.

Morgan threw out the usual pathetic attempts to justify the undermining of marriage by homosexual activists, by claiming that the fact that some heterosexuals make a mockery of marriage makes it okay for homosexuals to make a mockery of marriage, too.  Did no one teach Minister Morgan that two wrongs don’t make a right?  Did no one tell Minister Morgan that one person behaving badly does not justify another person’s behaving badly?  Did no one tell Minister Morgan that proper societal standards aim to have as many people as possible emulate the best standard, not the worst standard?

While this clip was illustrative of Minister Morgan’s apparent pro-homosexual agenda (as opposed to journalism), I wish they had shown Perkins’ answers. I’ve met Tony Perkins a number of times and heard him speak still more, and I know he would have cast invaluable pearls of wisdom and understanding before the swine of an interviewer.

But then, Minister Morgan wasn’t looking for real answers or information any more than the average homosexual activist is. Like any other liberal activist, his agenda was a hunt for opportunities to make his opponent look bad.

Of course, if an opponent of counterfeit marriage is even moderately knowledgeable about the subject (and Perkins is well beyond that), the homosexual activist will only succeed in making himself look like the intolerant enemy of reality that he is.

Was this “interview” chopped up intentionally or did Morgan really not let him answer? I could believe it if Morgan kept talking over Tony, but maybe the point was to illustrate the inane line of “thought” coming from the Leftist Media?

Your final statement is my guess.

I find it fascinating that the American media needs to import non-American celebrities in order to sustain their anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-traditional agenda. At some point the majority of Americans must realize this British import simply fails to grasp the fact that his air of superiority has no cache in our society… or does it? I am still amazed that some Americans seem to be bowled over by British royalty and aristocracy. They, of course, have no idea that’s exactly what we fought against during the Revolutionary War. We commoners had the temerity to insist we have the right to govern ourselves. I have absolutely no tolerance for Piers Morgan or his elitist ilk. I say send him back to his little island nation. He isn’t welcome here.

Apparently some think that stupid sounds intelligent when said with an accent

  • Man Up

Another example of the right saying I know you are, but what am I? They get labeled as the intolerant, or bullies or whatever that they are and when it starts to stick they simply start calling the left the same thing. You are intolerant bullies and anything you whine about does not change that fact. We knew NC is filled with a bunch of stupid southern bigots who live in the last century, but it was not a total lose, the President showed courage next to your pandering rich kid. I’ll take it.

Thanks for proving me right and yourself wrong. Only a liberal can manage such a self-contradictory feat.

Your fingers are hitting the keyboard but nothing is coming out. “homosexual activist will only succeed in making himself look like the intolerant enemy of reality that he is.” So if you are tolerant of gays you are intolerant of reality? Well, reality is that acceptance of gay marriage is growing by leaps and bounds. Just in the last 4 years it’s up almost 20%. Time marches on. Only a winger blocks out facts.

I am trying to convey useful, relevant information. However, that falls on deaf ears for the person who is hostile toward truth.

In our modern pop culture which is fed by intellectually bankrupt academics and fueled by narcissistic, emotion-driven icons, I know that rational thought is difficult for many people. I therefore included some visual illustrations to help people like you understand the functionality of marriage and male/female relationships, as well as the irrationality and illegitimacy of homosexual relationships. They are so simple that even a 5-year old can grasp them. Of course, the observer must be interested in identifying the truth and open to accepting it.

Sadly, you’ve illustrated that you, too, are intolerant of truth and an enemy of reality. You continue to illustrate this with silly claims that others are joining you in your delusion “by leaps and bounds,” even though two days ago yet another state overwhelmingly rejected the absurdity of homosexual “marriage.”

Time does indeed march on, and as it does, more and more states erect bulwarks against the insanity of homosexual activists. Reality, too, marches on, and you are in danger of being completely left behind.

Oh, and since you are duplicitious enough to leave comments four different times under four different screen names and four different email addresses (but not four different IP addresses)-ostensibly to make it appear that there are more people who share your delusion than actually do-I’ll be ending your access to spread your delusions and your deceptions here.

Bob, I really like your illustrations! :-) Spot-on!

Thanks, Gina. They make the truth impossible to miss…unless you’re hostile to the truth to begin with.

2005 South Dakota Abortion Disclosure Legislation Upheld

South Dakota Attorney General Marty Jackley announced today that the en banc Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit has upheld a provision of a 2005 statute which requires that a woman considering an abortion be given an advisory that the risk of suicide and suicide ideation is higher among women who abort than those in other relevant groups, such as those who give birth.

US Court of Appeals Upholds South Dakota Informed Consent Law

US Court of Appeals en banc Court declares that South Dakota’s statute that requires abortion doctors to disclose to pregnant mothers that an abortion places the mother at increased risk for suicide ideation and suicide constitutional because the disclosure is truthful, non-misleading, and relevant to the pregnant mother’s decision of whether or not to consent to an abortion.

House GOP Caves, Will Fund ObamaCare

Bob Ellis

Well, that didn't last long. Just yesterday it looked like Republicans in the U.S. House might have the brass to block the unconstitutional ObamaCare monstrosity by defunding it. Now, it seems "Republicans" in the House have misplaced their testicles as well as their spine, and are now stating they will fund this abomination. And if they will fold so easily on something this important, can anything they say about sticking with something or other tough-talk be believed?

Obama Didn’t Build It, But He Can Destroy It

Rebekah Rast

If you’ve got a business, you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen.” These words spoken by the president have received a lot of attention lately. For many, this statement perfectly aligns with actions taken towards small businesses these past three years, whether through the tax code or Obamacare. It comes across as a stark justification to take people’s hard-earned wealth. Despite the president’s claims, the government does not create jobs or build businesses. However, he has a large role in setting the environment where a business will succeed or fail.

Bullseye on Bachmann over Muslim Brotherhood

Bob Ellis

Though many Republicans decided to let the "mainstream" media decide their presidential nominee for them, Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) hasn't allowed the shallow opinions of people who can't think for themselves to deter her from her responsibility to the Constitution and the people of the United States. She continues to pay the price for her loyalty to America, as liberals (including some in the GOP) vilify her for raising the alarm about Muslims in our own government who apparently have ties to Islamic extremists.

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended.
