A Different Kind of Dynamite

“You’ve heard it said that ‘actions speak louder than words.’ Instead of blunt force, the weapons of choice here are love against hate, and faith against fear.” -Trevor McNevan

I tend to see things in a big picture sort of way. As I consider our cultural and political landscape, I wonder at what point do we come to understand that the whole darn tree is rotten to the core.

I’ve barely seen conservative government in my lifetime. Conservatism divorced from a Godly foundation is merely a carrot on a stick.

I still believe in moral law and a Godly foundation for our nation. I believe in the sanctity of life, marriage and the family. I believe in natural law and order. Ultimately, there are no practical solutions for what ails mankind, only a Radical One. The same GOD that gave us moral law – thou shalt not murder, lie, steal, etc. – has sent his only-begotten son, Jesus, who will never leave us or forsake us.

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you.” ~ Luke 6:27

We Christians do not seek to exploit and destroy to achieve our cause. We seek the salvation and restoration of all who may believe.

We don’t look to kill or maim with weapons made of human hands. We believe none are expendable or outside the reach of God’s loving kindness and mercy. We come armed with the Word and the Spirit.

We fight with a different kind of dynamite!!!
