SOS: Speaking of Seniors - Saint John Man Happy

happyIn the last week of February 2016, a client brought me a copy of a revised bill that showed a balance of zero. The client is from Saint John, Indiana.

A few weeks before this, he sat in my office while I reviewed a bill and made phone calls for him. I typed a letter to the medical biller to explain why the bill was wrong under the rules of Medicare.

The client was very happy that the bill was eliminated.

The help that I gave this client was FREE OF CHARGE. This insurance agency distinguishes itself by helping clients with such medical billing problems with charging our clients for this extra value added service. Does your insurance agency give this high level of service to its senior citizen clients? If not, why not?
