February 12, 2016 Alert: URGENT! South Dakota Student Restroom Privacy Bill Vote Tuesday
HB1008, An Act to restrict access to certain restrooms and locker rooms in public schools, otherwise known as the student privacy bill, passed in the Senate Education Committee today with a vote of 4-2. Check the votes here. (We wanted a YES vote.)
HB1008 will be debated and voted on in the full Senate Tuesday afternoon, February 16. It is crucial that you contact your state senator and urge him to Vote YES on HB1008, the student privacy bill. The vote will be very close. We need you to also pass this alert on to others and share this message with your church friends. . . .
