America Today: Fired for Being Honest

We’ve reached a deplorably sad low when our culture embraces firing someone for not playing along with a counter-reality delusion.

The two male parents of a six-year-old little girl told employees at the school to refer to their daughter as a boy, and to call her by a new masculine name. The little girl’s hair had also been cut like a boy’s.

Kirksey told Breitbart Texas in an interview, that the problem was not so much with the transgender issue as it was with telling young children that the little girl was a boy when she was not, and with calling her “John” (not the name given) when that was not her name.

She, and another worker who does not want to be identified, were fired from the Childrens’ Lighthouse Learning Center in Katy, Texas, a city just west of Houston.

This daycare facility seems to be a private business, so it’s within the rights of the owners to terminate its employees for being loyal to reality if they insist.  But to do so remains a pathetic betrayal of veracity in general, not to mention a grave disservice to this and other young children.

In fact, in a sane culture, a facility entrusted with the welfare of children might very well be investigated for child endangerment or child abuse for encouraging a child to ignore reality. Consider the damage done to a young, impressionable child by encouraging this delusion when people who are misled about their sex suffer such mental and emotional problems. Confused children (and adults) need help adjusting to reality, not humoring to go along with an unhealthy delusion.

Further, the article indicates this girl lives with two male homosexuals.  In a sane culture, they would not only be investigated and charged with child endangerment, they would not be allowed to attempt to parent this child in the first place. Children need a healthy, stable home in which to grow up, where they can see men and women working together in a complementary, balanced fashion. They do not need to see a home environment consisting of two men or two women engaging in unnatural sex, sending the child the unmistakable if unspoken message that one or the other sex is either unnecessary or undesirable, or both.  No doubt the fact that this little girl is stuck in a home with two men has more than a little to do with the fact that they say she identifies with malehood.

There was a time when society not only recognized that people who were born with a penis are males and people born with a vagina are females, society understood that, barring unavoidable circumstances, a home with a mother and a father is the best and really only adequate environment for raising children.  Placing a child in a home where two people of the same sex have demonstrated hostility toward reality, morality and good health with their own lives was not that long ago recognized as incredibly damaging to a child, and not something a rational society would condone.

This is what happens when good people stand by and do nothing, allowing their society to go insane.  People get persecuted for being loyal to reality. People get fired and harassed for being honest.  And young children are caught in the crosshairs of insanity.

It happened because good people were too afraid or too lazy to stand for what is right.
