A Cruz-Trump Alliance?

Could this be the beginning of a 3rd Party Alliance???

This is just me thinking out loud. But if you are like me you don’t trust the GOP.

If the Republican Party were to continue to go RINO and leave Mr. Cruz (and dare I say Mr. Trump) behind, may I suggest a third party revolt.

Heck, maybe we can even throw Rand Paul in there. I guess my main point is that We the People have the power to possibly hold the party hostage.

Most days I feel the only thing holding a dynamic presidential prospect like Cruz down is the Republican Party. If Trump were ever willing to provide his moxie and financial backing, Ted Cruz (the proper presidential option) could have a clear, unrestricted path toward true Constitutional reform.

Just an idea…..  But considering today’s political climate, everything’s on the table. Especially if they try and force Jeb Bush down our throats.

Again, this is just me thinking out loud. I’m not sure if such a bold scenario is even possible. But if Cruz continues to gain traction he may very well become bigger than the party (he may already have!). And what has the GOP ever done for us? The Chris McDaniel fiasco is a prime example of their priorities!

Cruz has risen to prominence despite the establishment. We the People have put him there and we are prepared to ensure his rise… without compromise!!!

    Trump is a RINO but the irony is he’s actually calling out establishment RINOs, so he is of some value politically. I don’t trust the GOP and want to see it burnt down & rebuilt by us NOW…. I’m talking revolution…. Paul, Cruz & Lee types are our only hope to be reborn. I do think Trump is sincerely aghast about the way America is being slapped around….. His response is to embrace anyone and anything that is traditional pro-US….. How long will it last? I guess we should just enjoy it regardless………I still hold out hope enough people are waking up…..but is that enough to lose the shadow government?

      I suspect Trump is going to burn himself out after a while-either through his own ego, or because as people start to take a closer look beyond the rhetoric, they’ll see he’s little more than the same kind of fraud John Boehner and Mitch McConnell are.

      Ted Cruz’ record is unparalleled among the presidential candidates, and he’s proven he’ll not only fight the liberals in the Democrat Party, he’ll fight the ones in the Republican Party, too.

        I didn’t think Trump had a chance, but polls are pointing otherwise. I do like that he can’t be bought, and he doesn’t have the contrived smarminess that the others have. He says what he thinks (even if it’s often ridiculous and offensive).

        According to “isidewith.com”, I should vote for Rubio (which I find interesting). He’s apparently most aligned with my own political views. He seems to be a centrist and so probably won’t do anything too crazy. Unfortunately, he’s not exciting enough to make the nomination.

          I could really like Rubio…if he hadn’t pulled that pro-amnesty crap a couple of years ago. Selling us out on something this important is bad enough; actively joining the other side burns a bridge with me.

            Rubio’s glaring character flaws were made abundantly manifest when he was asked the “gotcha!” question of whether he would attend a same-sex “wedding” of a close friend or relative. What conservative answers in the affirmative on that ridiculous trap?!

      One of the positive effects of Trump is that he is pushing some reluctant “conservatives” to be more bold about their views without apology in a “me too” posture. When Huckabee was cynically questioned about his “gas chamber” remark by a leftist media pundit, he didn’t back down but affirmed his statement. I think he would caved and apologized if Trump hadn’t been in the mix.
