There was once a story of a merciful captain of a ship. While a passing ship shot at the captain’s ship, the captain showed mercy and warned him not to shoot again. The ship shot at him again, but the kind captain did not retaliate. His “mercy” ended up bringing destruction not only upon himself, but all those on his ship. By allowing the enemy to attack him twice without retaliation, the passing ship shot a third time and destroyed them all. Sympathy for the devil only goes one way. The devil does not play by the rules. He stands against them.

At this point, the SDHSAA Board has decided to NOT take action on the transgender policy until their May 15, 2015 board meeting. In the interim, they are going to send out a survey to all of the superintendents of the associated schools in order to solicit their thoughts and opinions regarding the policy.

Aren’t you glad “Republicans” got control of congress last year? Now we don’t have to worry about radical Leftists in Washington ignoring the law, refusing to enforce our nation’s immigration laws, violating our freedoms, and the Obama agenda decimating America unhindered. Wait, what?

So if it isn’t America first, what is it? It is politicians seeking their own fame, their own counsel and their own benefit. It is those who want to be citizens of the world, betraying those of us who are proud to be citizens of the United States of America. If we don’t stand up for what we believe, do we think anyone else will?

Inordinate love may seem like a mystery and yet, it is as common as air. We love our houses, our cars and our things. We love those who provoke our compunctions and imaginations from the astronaut to the bank robber. We love what should not be loved. We are more apt to ignore the victims who were shot in the face with a powerful 44 pistol and adore Jesse James for his legendary braggadocio and bravado.

Got your attention? Death to America isn’t something I wish. It’s something I have heard others say and it’s something we see happening before our very eyes. Just as when any organism dies, we are witnessing the breakdown and failure of life-giving systems and life-sustaining functions.
