Military Morale Low, Anti-American Leftists Don’t Know Why

The title of the article is “Army morale low despite 6-year, $287M optimism program.” Gee, ya think?  Wonder why?

A broad swath of U.S. soldiers suffer low morale and distrust in leadership despite a six-year, $287 million campaign to boost optimism and make troops psychologically resilient, findings obtained by USA TODAY show.

Maybe because even after years of cultural dumbing-down and corruption, and even taking into consideration the relatively low number of liberals who make it into the military, military personnel are remarkably resistant to BS. (I know–I was one for 10 years).

I got out roughly in the middle of the Clinton years, and could see the writing on the wall then. I joined the military during the Reagan years, when there was tremendous pride in America and the armed forces, and saw our great nation stand down the Soviet empire and knock that “evil empire” in the dirt. I was fortunate enough to be in Europe when the Berlin Wall fell, and was thanked by more Europeans for our presence there than I could count.  That was followed by the “doing more with less” culture of Bush I, and the gutting of the military and national resolve under Philanderer-in-Chief Bill Clinton.

Military life–where you’re on-call if not in service 24/7/365 worldwide and potentially in harm’s way–is tough enough, even on a good day in good times. I can only imagine what it’s like for the troops now under the anti-American Barack Obama.

No, it’s hard to BS military folks. Do these idiots really expect our military forces to be all shiny and optimistic after years of forcing homosexual behavior on them in the close quarters of military operations, and creating a climate ripe for homosexual assault?

After promoting anti-American propaganda to them that tells them the Bible, the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution are bad?

After hammering Christian troops for considering their faith important enough to adhere to, browbeating troops for their Christian and conservative interests, creating a climate of hostility toward the faith that founded this nation and is held by somewhere around 80% of Americans, and even going so far as to come down on chaplains who actually (gasp) believe in obeying God?

After watching their Commander-in Chief bash the faith of approx. 80% of Americans, while he makes nice with the religion behind the 911 attack on America, and brings radical Islam into the White House?

After enduring several years of a Commander-in-Chief who runs around the world apologizing for America and bad-mouthing the nation they defend?

After years of watching many of our leaders promote defeatism and tell us that our efforts to keep our nation and the world safe are “lost”?

After years of watching our leaders cut the military budget during times of high mission commitment…even as wasteful spending on the welfare state and trillions in unnecessary spending reaches historic highs?

After years of watching our leaders promote unconstitutional socialist heath care schemes for some Americans, while our veterans get to wait in long lines for care, with some killed off under de facto “death panels“?

After years of general disdain and contempt for our military by our Commander-in-Chief?

So what in the world have our troops got to be down in the mouth about?
