Israeli Settlements: Barrier to Peace?
If you’ve followed the Arab-Israeli conflict at all in the past 20 years or more, you’ve no doubt heard the argument made by anti-Israel forces that the Israeli settlements in the occupied territories are the major barrier to peace in the Middle East. If we could just get those
dirty Jews Israelis out of the occupied territories, peace and love would break out uncontrollably in the Middle East and there would finally be an end to the hostilities.
But is that really true?
This is an enlightening video from Alan Dershowitz and Prager University on the subject. Dershowitz is a bit more charitable than I would be, nevertheless, his main points stand in stark contrast to the propaganda we so often hear from those who would love to wipe Israel from the map want Israel out of the occupied territories.
