Hot Air examines a goofy People interview that Barack and Michelle Obama gave in which they cited examples of the horrible racism to which they’ve been subjected. I’m a victim, just like Michelle Obama.

Amnesty is wrong, and it is unfair. It’s unfair to millions of legal immigrants, to the 92 million Americans who are currently not in the labor force, and to minority communities across the nation struggling with record unemployment. Even more troubling was how the amnesty was decreed: by executive fiat, directly contrary to federal immigration law and to the Constitution.

Early next year, Republicans have to keep their word and defund the executive amnesty, and if Obama vetoes it, then hold votes to override the veto, and hold every member who votes the wrong way accountable to their constituents. Anything less will likely be viewed as a surrender on the issue.

“Free health care!” “Free cell phones!” “I don’t have to make my car payment any more!” Such were the excited ravings that accompanied the political slogan/promise of “Hope and Change.” Really? Is that all hope and change amounts to…more “free stuff”? Given the opportunity, what would you hope for…for yourself, your family, for America? If you were “King of America” what changes would you make? You may protest and say there is no king in America, but history tells a different story.

Tea Partiers, Constitutionalists, Christian Conservatives, Libertarians, and everything in between, are merely a thorn in the GOP establishment side. Our votes are not sought in an effort to preserve our nation or our Constitution. We vote so big donors and their big businesses can have their way in the form of cheap labor, diminished international trade/commerce restrictions, and less government regulation.
