The Cato Institute has released its latest Fiscal Policy Report Card on America’s Governors. The grade is based on seven items: two spending, one revenue, and four based on tax rates. Governors who cut taxes and spending most received an “A” and those who increased taxes and spending most received an “F”.

There is a blog site of the hard-Left called Right Wing Watch. I have written about it before. It’s a propaganda arm of People for the American Way, a grossly misnamed, radical anti-American organization founded in 1981 by television giant, Norman Lear. They work to perpetuate the evil character denigration of those of us who speak in defense of the freedom and foundation of the United States and who proclaim the truth of God’s Word.

I hear a lot of clamoring about a need for a Second American Revolution. It makes me chuckle. The Agency came under fire initially over the strange saga of the White House intruder, but then things went from bad to worse.

Whenever the health of the American republic is in serious decline, who will take action? You might ask, “What republic?” It is a rare occasion today when anyone refers to our nation as a republic. Our President, governors, senators/congressmen, government bureaucrats, teachers/professors in our schools and institutes of higher learning, the printed and electronic media and the average Joe on the street all “think” of us as a democracy.
