A RINO Does the Honorable Thing

A RINO Does the Honorable Thing

It’s rare when you see a RINO (Republican In Name Only) do the honorable thing (they’re usually too engrossed in doing the convenient thing, the “pragmatic” thing, the easy thing, the nest-feathering thing to worry about doing the right thing), so such an action by Evan Alvarez, leader of the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans, deserves commendation.

Empowering the Enemy

Empowering the Enemy

Tea Party patriots understand what many Republicans and even a few conservatives don’t seem to get: you can’t appease, be nice to, negotiate with, or compromise with an enemy that is dedicated to your destruction. Trying to maintain “access” to them will only get you laughed at behind your back as you walk out the door, and ultimately betrayed later.

Till The Fat Lady Sings

Till The Fat Lady Sings

The 2010 mid terms caught the attention of the GOP establishment to the point of unearthing their RINO assassin bureau. Prior to that event, the term RINO remained unknown and certainly devoid of the public’s disgust which that acronym now supposes. Today, our Constitutionally-based Tea Party has replaced the liberal Democrat as the RINO’s chief adversary, and for good reason!

Mississippi Burning: The End Justifies the Means

Conservatives learned in Mississippi that for establishment Republicans, the end justifies the means, making it impossible to separate them from their “big government” peers. The only remaining question post-Mississippi is will conservatives still reward them with their votes as the lesser of two evils?

Hobby Lobby Victory a Win for Freedom

Today’s decision was a victory for freedom, because a person who does not have the right to order his or her professional and personal life in accordance with his or her religious beliefs does not have freedom at all.

King Pyrrhus of Epirus

The Voice in the Pyrrhic Establishment Victories

Still more voices are joining the chorus that now is the time to make the corrupt GOP establishment start to feel the consequence of their betrayal of republican values. As I pointed out a few days ago, conservatives who believe in Republican values and principles have been working for several years now to guide the Republican Party back to the values that it claims to believe in…only to be met with mockery, disdain, derision and hostility.

Justina Pelletier coming home, WCVB TV

‘Justina’s Law’ Introduced in Wake of Pelletier Nightmare

This is the story of a child, Justina Pelletier, who faced 16 long months of child abuse and incarceration at the hands of both Massachusetts government officials and callous medical personnel at Boston Children’s Hospital. Thankfully, due to the actions of Liberty Counsel, a Christian civil rights law firm, powerful media voices like Glenn Beck and tens of thousands of outraged and outspoken Americans, 16-year-old Justina is now home.

Told You So!

Told You So!

On June 25, 2014, I spent an hour on the phone with our client and Medicare to get Medicare to correct its erroneous records about our client. The client is a victim of the Obamacare law (a.k.a. “Affordable Care Act”). Her employer cancelled the group health insurance plan for all the employees.

Democrats Prefer RINOs

Democrats Prefer RINOs

In addition to the Leftist tactic of “racist” smears employed by the Cochran camp, it only makes sense that if you engaged Democrats to make a choice between a liberal RINO and a real Republican, they’d overwhelmingly choose the RINO. After all, a liberal “Republican” is far closer to what they look for in a Democrat than is a Republican who stands by Republican values.

Chris McDaniel

McDaniel blows it in Mississippi by ignoring blacks

Incumbent Republican Senator Thad Cochran’s successful game plan, which drove his run-off victory over Tea Party challenger Chris McDaniel for Mississippi’s Republican Senate nomination, was unconventional. But most incredible was the success of this game plan – to reach out to liberal black churches and get Democrat black voters to turn out and vote for Cochran – despite being executed in broad daylight.
