Rand Paul: Now Selling Out on Voter ID

According to Jeremy Peters at the New York Times via Hot Air and Yahoo News, Senator and 2016 presidential hopeful Rand Paul (R-KY) is flip-flopping on voter ID. This is just the latest liberal sellout by Rand Paul in a growing list of betrayals of Republican principles.

Just Tell Them What They Want to Hear!

Just Tell Them What They Want to Hear!

Did you hear about the dictator who was asked by one of his subordinates, “How do we get the people to believe our lies?” The dictator answered, “Just tell them what they want to hear.”The enemies of America seem to know that all they have to do is find out what people will submit to, and you have found out the exact amount of injustice and wrong that will be imposed on them.

U.S. Senate Candidate Stace Nelson: Send in a Marine

U.S. Senate Candidate Stace Nelson: Send in a Marine

I received a nice gloss mailer from U.S. Senate Candidate Stace Nelson today. The letter points out some of the most critical problems our nation is facing…and how the RINO-coronated frontrunner in South Dakota’s U.S. Senate race is the same kind of status quo placeholder candidate who not only would do nothing to help get our country out of those disastrous courses, but has actually helped get us into the mess we’re in.

Nancy Trautman Second Amendment Mailer

Nancy Trautman Second Amendment Mailer

Being a resident of South Dakota District 35, I received a mailer today concerning Dist. 35 House Candidate Nancy Trautman. No, Repealing ObamaCare Debate Isn’t Over

No, Repealing ObamaCare Debate Isn’t Over

Despite the cynicism up on the Hill at the moment, there is still a chance, albeit a slim one, to undo the law before its costs ultimately sink the Ship of State. Using arcane budget rules, Republicans could in principle repeal much of Obamacare via a budget resolution that would only require 51 votes to pass in the Senate, and not 60. One window for getting it done will be in 2015, provided Republicans win the Senate and House this year.

The Bad Science of Anthropogenic Global Warming

The Bad Science of Anthropogenic Global Warming

“Bad science gone berserk,” is how Weather Channel co-founder John Coleman characterized a just released White House report on global warming. The 800 plus page report is just one more act of violence against science perpetrated under the guise of saving the planet from some imagined future ills, with the full intent of scaring the American people into supporting emergency action.

The Puzzle Maker

The Puzzle Maker

Despite all the knowledge gained through scientific study, our understanding of the physical universe we live in (our reality) is still basically a mystery. One of the questions string theory introduces is how many dimensions there are. My generation was told space has three dimensions and time was the fourth. In 1969 I heard the 5th Dimension sing the Age of Aquarius, and I mistakenly thought my consciousness was expanding.
