The most fundamental tenets freedom are violated when private ownership can be disturbed by politicians who don’t like you, how you look, how you think, or what you say in private. Private property is the oxygen of freedom and of capitalism. It’s the job of our government to protect property, not invade it.

You Just Have to Put it Out of Your Mind!
Barack Obama unashamedly did his best to attempt to save face by showing up at Arlington National Cemetery with the hopes that you would believe that he supports American ideals, along with our boys and girls in uniform. All the while, he spends his allotted time (to America’s own demise) destroying and desecrating their memories by trampling the Constitution they sacrificed themselves to magnify.

A friend brough this South Dakota U.S. Senate race scorecard on illegal immigration to my attention. It’s from Numbers USA, a group concerned about immigration, primarily illegal immigration and reforming (i.e. fixing, not “liberalizing” as most uses of the word “reform” mean) our immigration system.

A release from Jordan Mason, a candidate for Pennington County Register of Deeds, says Rapid City Mayor Sam Kooiker is being criticized by Councilmember Jerry Wright for his endorsement of Pennington County Auditor candidate John Roberts, and that the husband of the current Register of Deeds has criticized Kooker for endorsing Mason’s candidacy.

This is a great “team” mailer I received today from South Dakota District 35 House Rep. Chip Campbell and Dist. 35 House candidate Lynne DiSanto. There is a LOT that a LOT of South Dakota “Republicans” could learn from these two-and hopefully they will.

Since then, it’s been the “surrender caucus” on parade.

Two hundred twenty-three years after the First Amendment went into effect, Senate liberals are trying to put an expiration date on political speech. While most Americans were firing up their grills last weekend, Sen. Udall was lighting a match under Senate Democrats to get a vote on his Joint Resolution 19. And if it’s successful, the National Archives will need more than bomb-proofing to protect America’s founding documents.

Just what more does this imposter have to do in order to turn heads and flinch the unflinching heart? Here he is yesterday, at our Nation’s most historic military institution, speechifying a speech which, at another time would both salute the graduates while solidifying their solemn pledge of “Duty, Honor, Country.” In reality, I believe this commencement was their first test at being an “officer and a gentleman,” as they all had to endure Obama’s dribble.

The Republican party has been, in its core demographic power centers, affirmatively convinced that conservative, limited government principles of statesmanship ought to be applied by Republican elected officials. This forces the moderate establishment to fight on the political and rhetorical battleground of the principled conservative.
