In light of the 9/11 attacks, you would think the current administration would use a little prudence if it were sincerely concerned about a radical Muslim threat. When Obama took his oath of office, he instead defied America in numerous ways. He has given $1.5 billion to Muslim-led Egypt in foreign aid, shortly after the Muslim Brotherhood declared war on the United States. This is the same man that said America is “no longer a Christian nation,” followed by a reference that America may be described as a Muslim nation.

The have nots become the haves, fulfilling the goal of the Alinsky inspired community organizing program which has become Americas master plan. As the have nots rise to become the haves and the haves descend to become the have nots, the cycle repeats itself in an endless spiral of social warfare and the only ones who really benefit are those whose goal is power irrespective of who has what.

To criticize groups for attempting in a good faith manner to get information out to the American people in advance of a critical budget deal affecting the next two fiscal years when organizations, news outlets, and legislators had less than 48 hours to find out what was in it once announced — in violation of Republicans’ 2010 Pledge to America — is both unfair and misplaced. That obscure, objectionable provisions are being brought to light only after the fact is just the icing on the cake. And yes, it undermines the House’s credibility.

Ginny Thomas recently interviewed Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI). She mentioned that it seems conservatives not only have to war against Leftist Democrats who are trying to “fundamentally transform” our country, but we also have to fight the feckless GOP establishment. Amish responded with candor.

Our Constitution is a glorious document. But for 100 years, almost everyone in our Country has ignored our Constitution. Thus, instead of restricting spending to the enumerated objects of its powers, the people we send to Congress spend money on what anybody wants - and so gave us a debt of $17 trillion. Instead of restricting lawmaking to the enumerated objects of its powers, the people we send to Congress make laws on whatever they like.

A senior citizen client visited my office with her granddaughter for help with translation. The granddaughter translated for us. I speak some Spanish, but not enough to resolve a complicated problem. The client is from Hammond, Indiana. I reviewed the papers that she brought. One was a payment demand letter from a collection law firm. I wrote letters to the law firm and other billers to ask for 60 days for me to review and work on the client’s medical bill problems.

Well…once again…it’s that time of year. Another “Holiday Season” is in full swing! Everywhere you look…from the heart of the downtown district, to the sleepy little “bedroom communities” of the suburbs; even to the remote countryside between cities and towns, you’ll see the signs of the Season. The definition of “deinstitutionalization” is simple. It is taking mentally ill patients from mental institutions and placing them on your street corner and/or in local jails. Ever wondered where all those mentally ill “homeless” people came from? Blame it on “deinstitutionalization.”

Liberty is to be understood and exercised in the context of self-restraint. It cannot be linked to “not hurting” anyone in a Libertarian sense. Few behaviors occur without hurting someone. We often must decide who will be hurt the least.
