As reproductive science has advanced, the humanity of an unborn child has become increasingly apparent. We now know that unborn children begin interacting with their uterine environment at a very early point in the pregnancy. They respond to physical stimuli. They can feel pain. With each progressing week in the pregnancy an unborn baby acquires new capacities and abilities. The antiquated notion that an unborn baby is merely an extension of the mother’s body has been proven false.

According to the latest job numbers released by the Bureau of Labor Statistics, folks are not even entering the labor force (i.e. looking for work), let alone finding jobs at the rate needed to significantly improve labor market conditions. That is the real problem with the Obama economy. Not fairness, but simply the lack of opportunity.

The Rapid City Journal is reporting that South Dakota Governor Dennis Daugaard was in Rapid City yesterday to “defend” the Northern Beef scandal. From the governor’s statements, it seems he is having serious doubts about the efficacy of several things the state has done, including investing millions of dollars of the taxpayer’s money in enterprises that fail, and in seeking foreign investments from communist countries. Meanwhile, supporters of former governor Mike Rounds, who was in the governor’s office when this mess was created, continue to demonize anyone who wants answers about the whole affair.

As the owner of Masterpiece Cakes, Jack Phillips is used to making batter. What he’s not used to is being battered for his beliefs. Unfortunately for Jack, the two now go hand in hand under a ruling many would argue is its own masterpiece of religious intolerance. The case had been brewing since July 2012, when two homosexuals stormed out of Phillips’s shop, irate that Jack wouldn’t make a cake for their upcoming “wedding.”

If the government can tell you what you can and cannot do within the privacy of your home, whether it relates to what you eat, what you smoke or whom you love, you no longer have any rights whatsoever within your home. It’s time for a second American Revolution.

As you may know, we live in a time of rampant, powerful deception. We are seeing a ramping-up of the promotion of sodomy and special “rights” for those who engage in that immoral, unnatural, unhealthy and self-destructive behavior. Along with this, we are seeing more and more vicious attacks against Christians and others who oppose this wicked movement that is based on the deranged pride of a sin that God calls detestable to Him. It’s getting uglier by the day.
