SOS: Speaking of Seniors - Hebron Couple Caught Medicare Billing Error

On November 25, 2013, I worked with a senior citizen couple from Hebron, Indiana. The couple had caught a Medicare related medical bill error and wanted to know what they should do about it. The wife had visited a doctor’s office in Merrillville on a particular day. But, Medicare reported to the couple’s insurance company that both the wife and the husband had used the same doctor on the same day. The couple’s insurance company paid both claims.
