(I sometimes call that tool the “cold bucket of reality”) Some people are too busy to take in reasoned arguments for the truth. Others have been so misled that it is difficult to comprehend the truths of conservatism. These truths require analysis and thought, and can easily be trod under the foot of emotionalism which always comes easier and more quickly.
