In a nutshell, if you’re a liberal, why all the centrist posing? Embrace your progressive ideology. Shout it from the rooftops. Moderates and opportunists of either party are insidious threats to liberty, as they are too hard to predict.

That old saying, “if you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything,” is being proven true yet again by the Republican leadership in the House of Representatives. Failing to embrace an agenda that would keep faith with the people who elected them, the House GOP honchos — led by House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton of Michigan — are about to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Did the U.S. House leadership suddenly grow a pair of…a spine? Or are some Republicans in the House doing this without the approval of leadership, simply because it needs to be done? In either event, The Blaze and other outlets are reporting that the House is drawing up articles of impeachment against Attorney General Eric Holder for stonewalling, lying to congress, selectively enforcing laws, etc.

Kevin O’Brien has a great article at Cleveland.com about the Tea Party and the only thing the GOP establishment has to say to conservatives: “Stop wanting something better and vote for who we give you.” He also examines how the liberal Republican establishment is coming out of the shadows to make open war against conservatives. If the RINOs refuse to get with the program and mend their ways. so be it. Let the American people see what’s really going on.

On November 13, 2013, a senior citizen veteran brought a bill to our office and asked why Medicare and his Medicare supplement insurance did not pay the entire bill. I copied the bill and some other items and started researching the matter. His insurance company reported that it never got this claim from Medicare but that it had received another claim for the same day and that Medicare denied some of the charges on that claim.
