A New Alternative to ObamaCare

Congresswoman Kristi Noem today announced her support for comprehensive healthcare legislation that offers a consumer-driven alternative to President Obama’s healthcare law.  The legislation, referred to as the American Health Care Reform Act of 2013 (H.R. 3121), offers a number of reforms aimed at fixing the fundamental challenges faced in our healthcare system.

Was the GOP Chris Christie Win Actually a Loss?

Last night, “moderate” Chris Christie won in New Jersey, while conservative Ken Cuccinelli lost in Virginia. Strategically this has major implications for these professional Republican operatives who have already publicly declared war on their Party’s political base. The Virginia race strips away almost any reason why conservatives should not look toward a third party in 2016, as the national Republicans attempt to foist another “candidate who can win” down their throats.

Republican Establishment Chose to Lose in Virginia

Well, it’s a very sad loss in Virginia as Republican Ken Cuccinelli lost 46-48% to Democrat Terry “McAwful” McAuliffe, with spoiler “Libertarian” candidate Robert Sarvis (who didn’t seem very much like a real libertarian) siphoning away 7% of the vote that almost certainly would have gone to Cuccinelli in his absence. Why did such a great Republican like Cuccinelli lose? Was he “too conservative” as the RINO sellouts would have us believe?

Benghazi Demands Obama’s Callout

Just by performance alone, the character and quality of our presidential leadership has been devalued. Today, as Obama’s cherished healthcare continues its downward spiral, its impracticality and abusive demands shines unfavorably upon an approving Chief Justice. What takes precedence over the hijacking of a major American industry is the fact that a self touting Commander in Chief refused to take charge in a time of great peril.

New Pro-Life Pizza Fundraiser

Carriage Court Pizza in Crown Point will be the site of the first fundraiser of a new pro-life political action committee in northwest Indiana. Working Families United for Traditional Values is the name of the new political action committee. The purpose of the group is to promote pro-life, pro-family causes by working to elect pro-life and pro-family candidates for the U.S. Senate and the U.S. House of Representatives.
