Forest fires are raging throughout the western United States as they often do this time of year, and just as thunder follows lightning, we can expect to hear environmentalists and their political shills blame global warming for the tempest. But seldom will you hear that the climate has been stable for the past fifteen years and the so-called scientific consensus that the earth’s atmosphere is warming has collapsed.

There has been a lot of religious debate about faith versus works. One school of thought says you just have to believe. Another says you must do good works. I am of the opinion that if I am in Christ, I can’t help but do good works. If I am a branch of the True Vine, then his sap is flowing through me, producing fruit as he directs.

Former New England Patriots player and Fox Sports commentator Craig James has been fired for telling the truth about homosexual behavior and about what the Bible says. Apparently, pro-homosexual political correctness has become so virulent in culture today, you can’t even be a sports commentator on the Fox network if you tell the truth about an aberrant, unhealthy and immoral sexual behavior.

The Right Side and Liberty TV today feature South Dakota Rep. and U.S. Senate Candidate Stace Nelson talking about his “Contract With South Dakota,” a written pledge he has made to the people of South Dakota to carry their values to Washington D.C.-and to stand solidly for them there.

For some reason, people lose their compassion when money is inherited. They forget that you can only inherit from your parents if they die and leave you an orphan. In many cases, the term “trust fund kid” is just another way of describing a cared for orphan. When Oliver Twist inherits a fortune, we rejoice. But when people like Jorn, Finn, and Kirsten Rausing inherit, many of us turn jealous or even enraged.

Back during the Vietnam War, they were duped into supporting the communists, and now they’re duped into supporting people who want to bring central-planning and eternal surveillance to America. Is this naivety or hypocrisy? Is this selfless altruism combined with low information? Or is it the self-centered arrogance of people who can be proven wrong time after time yet still believe only they can see the right course.
