My son Justin and I hiked the Crazy Horse Volksmarch again today. The volksmarch affords one of those rare opportunities a visitor to Crazy Horse Memorial will get to go out onto Crazy Horse’s extended arm and see his face close up.

Another Kirkeby Mailer in Rapid City Mayoral Race

This is the latest mailer to go out in the Rapid City mayoral election exposing Mark Kirkeby’s liberal record. For the most part, mayoral duties are more administrative than ideological. Nevertheless, we have seen a growing number of issues (environmentalism, regulation, property rights, education, family issues, Second Amendment, crime, etc) which come before the mayor and city council which are ideological in nature. People who cherish their freedom need to be confident that all of their leaders can be relied on to put the people’s interest first, not government control.

N.H.’s Kelly Ayotte stands up to liberal onslaught

Criminals will find ways to either get guns they want or commit their crimes some other way. So any perceived benefit from giving up any Second Amendment protections to arm and defend ourselves is not justified by the costs incurred. But those pushing new controls could care less, because this is about “never let a crisis go to waste.” It’s not about carefully thinking through whether we will wind up freer or safer. It’s about liberals using this crisis for their ongoing agenda to expand government control over our lives.
