Rep. Chip Campbell at the Constitution Rally
Rep. Chip Campbell of Rapid City spoke yesterday at the SD Citizens for Liberty Constitution Rally in Rapid City. Campbell mentioned that the bandshell location where he was speaking was the place the Tea Party first came to Rapid City four years ago. Campbell said that the direction American politics is tending is not constistent with the Constitution. He said that has been happening all his life, but that it has accelerated lately. Despite this, he said that America is still the greatest country in the world.

South Dakota Rep. Lance Russell of Hot Springs spoke at the SD Citizens for Liberty Constitution in Rapid City yesterday. Russell currently serves in the South Dakota House of Representatives as one of the most conservative members, and has served as State’s Attorney of Fall River County. Russell spoke about the founders of our nation, the Federalist Papers, and of how our federalist system is supposed to work-but no longer does. Russell also pointed out how our own state government accepts taxpayer-funded bribes from the federal government to turn a blind eye to the protection of South Dakotans, and allow the rule of law to be trampled.

Conservative activist Stephanie Strong spoke at the Constitution Rally in Rapid City yesterday. The event was sponsored by SD Citizens for Liberty. Strong is a pleasant, gentle woman who has a great passion for freedom and the founding ideals that gave birth to the United States. Not too long ago, she took a course on the U.S. Constitution in Pennsylvania presented by Rick Green and David Barton of Wallbuilders. Strong discussed the loss of freedom our people are facing, from the really big ones all the way down to the micromanaging regulations that dictate how and what a property owner may or may not do with their own property.

Peter Vodenka spoke at the Constitution Rally sponsored by SD Citizens for Liberty in Rapid City yesterday. Vodenka is an American citizen who came to this country from communist Czechoslovakia when, on a rainy night, he and his family barely escaped to freedom ahead of the soldiers chasing them at the border. Vodenka knows how precious and fragile freedom is, and how easily it can be lost by a people.

Bartlett is a conservative activist from Sioux Falls, South Dakota who has been active in politics for many years. He has run for state legislature and has served as Chairman of the Constitution Party in South Dakota.
