The Blind Who Don’t Blush

In American society today, we have lost touch with the value and necessity of shame. There was a time not so long ago in American society when people who did wrong were at least ashamed for their deeds to be known. Society would help keep the moral fiber of our culture in good repair by reinforcing that shame when someone did something bad. Now, too many people are spiritually blind, and have lost the ability to blush at being exposed in their own bad behavior.

A special presentation is coming to Parkview Church on Saturday evening, May 18th at 6:30 p.m. by Dr. Scott Carroll. He holds a M.A. degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, a Ph.D. in Ancient Studies from Miami University, Oxford, OH, and further language studies at Hebrew Union College, Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Carroll’s presentation concerns the reliability of the transmission of our Bible in its accuracy from the original writings. He has amassed a collection of nearly 80,000 biblically-related materials.
