Gina McCarthy: Green Government Run Amok

Government interventionists insist the free market, if left unchecked, endangers individuals and our planet. Obama nominee for administrator, Gina McCarthy, finds herself embroiled in a controversy over HFO-1234yf, a new “ozone friendly” automotive refrigerant developed jointly by Honeywell and DuPont. Can the GOP Learn from JC Penny’s Hip Folly?

Can the GOP Learn from JC Penny’s Hip Folly?

It was a staid brand catering to middle aged and older customers who had a strong loyalty, but that wasn’t enough. Change was needed. A freshening up was called for. A decision was made to appeal to younger, more hip customers. Everyone with a brain agreed, it was brilliant. It flopped. And so will the GOP RINO establishment’s stupid plan to cater to everyone except those who actually believe in the GOP’s stated values.

Science Surprised by Surtsey

Science Surprised by Surtsey

We’ve all heard from “scientists” that the Grand Canyon and other geological wonders took millions of years to form. How do “scientists” know this? Were they there? Was a written record left that verifies these geological features took millions of years to form? Ah, no. How Gun Control is Working Out for Australia

How Gun Control is Working Out for Australia

Australians were forced to give up their guns in exchange for a (empty) promise of safety from their government. What has gun control brought to Australia? Making 20 to 30 million illegal immigrants instantly eligible for Social Security benefits and all other government programs…which are paid for by our tax dollars.

Hey, Senate! Stop the Gun Control Nonsense NOW!

Hey, Senate! Stop the Gun Control Nonsense NOW!

If we have a God-given right to life and liberty, and we do, then it stands that we also have a God-given right to defend our lives and liberty against those who would try to take them from us. Our Founding Fathers knew this, and they also knew that the sinful nature of man includes a lust for power over others. They knew that without an armed citizenry, power-lusting men would eventually impose tyranny on the American people. We are now there.

Why Women Often Earn Less

Why Women Often Earn Less

The so-called “wage gap” between men and women is little more than yet another of those areas in which the Left wants to breed discontent, divide Americans and gain political mileage. The reason men and women often make different amounts has little to do with discrimination and much to do with life choices.

SOS: Speaking of Seniors – Multiple Mistakes in Medical Bill

SOS: Speaking of Seniors - Multiple Mistakes in Medical Bill

I researched a medical bill problem for a senior citizen client from a rural town in Indiana on April 10, 2013. To fix the problem, I sent a letter to the billing office of the medical service provider. Our client – the senior citizen patient – did not cause any of these problems. Someone else in the Medicare system caused these medical bill problems. It is unfair to make senior citizens pay more than what is correct just because someone else in the Medicare system makes a mistake.
