The Revolt of Intelligence Against ‘Marriage Equality’

The Revolt of Intelligence Against ‘Marriage Equality’

The phrase “marriage equality” functions as highly effective PR. Yet, a critical distance allows one to see beyond the PR and to realize that the kind of “equality” promoted in “marriage equality” is alien in theory, and inferior in results, to the genuinely liberating concept of “created equal” we find planted in the Declaration of Independence.

Yet far too often we are left with more questions than answers about how to find these cost savings.

Govt Highway Robbery: Asset Forfeiture and the Pillaging of the American People

Long before Americans charted their revolutionary course in pursuit of happiness, it was “life, liberty, and property” which constituted the golden triad of essential rights that the government was charged with respecting and protecting. Let the State allow whoever wants to be married to be married. It is a legal contract, not a religious ceremony, for goodness sake.” Nonsense.

The Consequences of Historical Ignorance

The American people have become so self-centered that we’re ignorant of the things that really matter in this life. A symptom of this pervasive myopathy is our historical ignorance. This was recently highlighted in a controversy that erupted over CBS’s popular reality hit, “The Amazing Race.”

Just Maybe

Mayor Bloomberg seems to be sure his money is going to buy enough bully-business-efforts against the elected officials to get them to vote his and his pals’ way on gun control issues, rather than vote as the people wish. However, he was also sure he was gonna get his ban on the 32 oz drinks, too. Wasn’t that effort done (or attempted) by going around the procedure put in place for a reason?
