Treating Lawful Gun Owners Like Criminals

Treating Lawful Gun Owners Like Criminals

Criminal background checks have become all the rage in Washington, D.C., as politicians scramble to try to ensure that anyone who ever even thought of owning a gun is subjected to a thorough electronic proctology exam. However, one group that appears immune to background check fever are the ever helpful Obama officials at the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP).

Minimum Wage: Companies Are Not Charities

Minimum Wage: Companies Are Not Charities

Obama has successfully rekindled the flames of the minimum wage debate by calling for the federal minimum wage to increase from $7.25 per hour of work to $9.00 per hour of work while indexing the minimum wage to inflation for every year thereafter during his State of the Union address. That sounds great. But why would Obama argue for $9 and not go for double or nothing at $18?

But the LORD still offers them his forgiveness. How much more should the Church offer the bond of peace, rather than a bondage to rules and rulers.

WA Dems Drop Home Invasion Clause in Gun Control Bill

An outrageous provision in an already outrageous piece of Democrat gun control legislation in Washington State has been scrapped. The now-“corrected” State Senate Bill 5737 had originally included a section that called for yearly home inspections by county sheriffs who would check to make sure your so-called “assault weapon” was stored “safely and securely,” as if how you store your gun in your home is any of their stinkin’ business.

1776 Painting of George Washington

Washington Still Leads

Friday, February 22nd, will be George Washington’s 281st birthday; our greatest American President, born in 1732 and passed away December 14, 1799. During those all too brief sixty-seven years, what a magnificent life! So why is it that modern day America seems so bent upon either ignoring or denying Washington’s greatness?

‘Red (White and Blue) Dawn’ – U.S. Prepares to Fight…You

My government is telling me it’s buying almost two billion rounds of anti-personnel ammunition for “training.” Never mind that hollow point rounds, which expand and do maximum damage to human tissue, are far more expensive than usual training rounds. After all, the government is wasteful, right? So some idiot is probably just buying the wrong ammo for training…right? For the Social Security Administration? For the National Weather Service?
