Earlier today, Floyd Lee Corkins, II, pleaded guilty to three charges including a District of Columbia charge of committing an act of terrorism.” The charges stem from the August 15, 2012 shooting at the Family Research Council’s headquarters. Today’s hearing also revealed that in the interview with the FBI right after the shooting, the shooter admitted his guilt, which was captured on video.

Our “Republican” supermajority legislature in South Dakota killed yet another conservative, pro-gun bill in committee on Tuesday. In light of several shootings on college campuses in recent years and the need for people to defend themselves, SB 177 sought to limit the authority of public universities in South Dakota to restrict possession or carrying of a firearm in accordance with state law on campus.

As is always the case, any time the government shows up and tells you they’re here to help, get ready for things to get worse. We knew pretty much from the beginning that ObamaCare was going to have the typical opposite effect from its stated intent, and that it would cause MORE people to lose their health insurance. Now the CBO has freshly affirmed that more people are going to LOSE their health care insurance thanks to ObamaCare.
