I’m with Ned Ryun. This bumbling, limp-wristed, sorry excuse for a Republican John Boehner needs to be deposed ASAP and replaced with someone with a backbone, a pair of testicles (Michele Bachmann has a much bigger pair than Boehner), and a passion for taking a stand for Republican principles. In fact, he should have been gone at least two years ago, but I’ll settle for the beginning of the next congress.

Today, U.S. Senator Jim DeMint (R-South Carolina) made the following statement regarding the fiscal cliff offer by Republican leadership. “Speaker Boehner’s $800 billion tax hike will destroy American jobs and allow politicians in Washington to spend even more, while not reducing our $16 trillion debt by a single penny,” said Senator DeMint. “This isn’t rocket science. Everyone knows that when you take money out of the economy, it destroys jobs, and everyone knows that when you give politicians more money, they spend it.”

In the wake of the media’s embarrassing pronouncements about gun control, perhaps someone should start clamoring for a seven-day waiting period before the media elite can use their First Amendment rights to advocate the destruction of other freedoms. Of course, why would the self-righteous want to actually have facts before subjecting their readers and listeners to their emotional reactions?

Republicans have lost their way in the political arena, out-marketed by Democrats who better understand what sells to the American voter. Conservatives must wrest control of the Republican Party if they want to win any future election. Republicans also can no longer afford to allow leftists to set the media narrative based on distorted stereotypes and gross distortions. There are a number of things that must begin now for Republicans to return as a viable national party.
