Approximately 150 people in Rapid City, South Dakota joined other Americans in 145 cities in 43 states across the country in standing up for religious freedom today. They are also standing against the religious tyranny of ObamaCare, which, in addition to robbing Americans of their basic right to make their own health care decisions, forces Americans to pay for goods and services (abortions, abortifacients, contraceptives, etc.) that many find morally objectionable.The right to religious liberty is perhaps the most sacred of American liberties.

He coordinated relief to millions when the Mississippi River levees broke during the 1927 flood and he organized feeding 300 million in 21 countries of Europe and Russia following World War I. In 1928, he was elected the 31st U.S. President in a landslide victory. His entire life he refused to receive any payment for public service. This was Herbert Hoover, who died OCTOBER 20, 1964.

Missouri Senate race serves as model

A new poll from Wenzel Strategies shows Rep. Todd Akin leading incumbent Sen. Claire McCaskill in the race for the Senate seat in Missouri. It’s big news that Akin is still alive and kicking despite being abandoned by the national Republican Party leadership. The fact that a persistent, principled and uncompromising conservative like Todd Akin can keep his candidacy viable under such challenging circumstances shows there’s a healthy constituency of Americans who understand that what is wrong is we’ve lost our principles and values.
