Obama GlamourTalk about blowing out the middle of the bull’s eye!

Bill Whittle’s latest Firewall nails both Barack Obama and the Obama Administration’s Ministry of Public Enlightenment (aka the “mainstream” media).

As a Star Wars fan since I was 10 (the year it came out), I love both the analogy to the Jedi mind trick…and the weak-minded upon whom it works its magic.

The only difference being, of course, that while Obi Wan Kenobi uses his Jedi mind trick to overcome evil, the Obama Administration’s Ministry of Public Enlightenment (aka the “mainstream” media) uses their liberal mind trick to aid evil.

And, as you’ll see in this video, they’ve been using this mind trick for decades–as long as the “mainstream” media has been beguiled by the Dark Side, aka Marxism.

I love the vampire pic, too!

  • I’m trying to think if conservatives ever had a demigod that we worshiped so much that we were wiling to look past glaring defects and inadequacies. I suppose Ronald Reagan comes the closest, but it was not the man that we loved above all (though we did love him), it was his ideas. Reagan made some mistakes during his presidency, like taking Democrats at their word to cut spending, and we let him know about it.

Now that I think about it that’s the difference between conservatives and liberals. We love ideas, especially liberty. Liberals deify their leaders, even when those leaders behave shoddily, e.g., Clinton. There have been six Democrat presidents during y life-time. I was too young to know anything about Truman, but all the rest were deeply flawed men, yet all have been deified in liberals’ minds. The only truly flawed Republican was Nixon and when the truth came out conservatives were quick to reject him. You’d never see Democrats do similarly. Just look at what Clinton and Obama have done-Democrats love them all the more it seems.

Another difference is the fact that most conservatives already have a God and have no need for another. Most Democrats, on the other hand…

You’re thinking about it wrong, Doc. The liberals look past the glaring defects and inadequacies of their liberal idols not because they are blind to them, but because these qualities are actually VIRTUES to the liberal elites. Van Jones, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayres, Frank Marshall Davis? These people are lionized by the Left. They only avoided the connections for political expedience.

If I hear one more politician, Romney included, who says that Democrats and Conservatives, liberals and conservatives, both only want what’s best for this country and it’s people, I’m going to scream. This is one of the biggest lies being purveyed today, and the Republican establishment is swallowing it whole. Liberalism, and its party, the Democrats, want nothing less than to DESTROY this country and what has made it great.

      • Point well-taken, spouse. The “virtues” of liberal icons would most certainly be called horrendous vices in a conservative. Funny how that works.
