Obama’s Denver Debate Debacle

Reactions to the debate are flying all around the D.C. Beltway in the aftermath of Romney-Obama 1, O’s Denver Debate Debacle. Analysts will argue various points in the debate with fact checkers and spinners on both sides furiously working to either maximize the advantage or control the damage. However, one bit of data that came out of the debate says it all, a CNN/ORC International poll of voters watching the debate found that Romney not only won the debate, but he dominated it.

Shelving Our Can of Whoop …

By pursuing love and popularity, President Obama has dashed our foreign policy and embraced sheepish naivety. He’s created a rise in hate and anti-American feelings in a Middle East set ablaze. In Egypt and Libya, he attempted purchasing “allies” in the Muslim Brotherhood—an organization with oft-cited connections to terrorist groups.

Commending the Bible

A Joint Resolution of the 97th U.S. Congress proclaimed “A Year of the Bible.” It was signed by Democrat Speaker of the House Tip O’Neil, Republican President of the Senate Strom Thurmond and President Ronald Reagan, who stated OCTOBER 4, 1982: “Now, therefore, I, Ronald Reagan, President of the United States of America, in recognition of the contributions and influence of the Bible on our Republic and our people, do hereby proclaim 1983 the Year of the Bible in the United States.”
