This is a very interesting documentary about historian Tom Holland’s efforts to trace the origins of Islam back to its earliest sources and learn all he could about how this powerful religion came to be. Like any good historian would, he sought original documents, original artifacts, and visited original locations in his quest. This 2012 presentation may just open up more questions than it answers.
