Todd Akin: Conservative Champion

Todd Akin: Conservative Champion

In recent months, Todd Akin has endured much. He made an inelegant statement, rooted in outdated science, which the left has gleefully taken out of context and cynically used to paint him as both anti-woman and insensitive to the unimaginable plight of rape victims. This characterization of Todd Akin the man – as anyone who has known him will attest – could not be further from the truth. Weak-kneed Republicans began to pressure him to go down, and stay down he did…for about seven seconds.

Whitefield and the Great Awakening

Whitefield and the Great Awakening

Seven times he preached in America to crowds of 25,000, spreading the Great Awakening Revival, which helped unite the Colonies prior to the Revolution. Ben Franklin wrote in his Autobiography: “He preached one evening from the top of the Court-house steps…Streets were filled with his hearers…” Franklin was describing George Whitefield, who died SEPTEMBER 30, 1770.

The Law of Sowing and Reaping

The Law of Sowing and Reaping

In this video, Bradlee Dean discusses the law of reaping and sowing, or as it is sometimes know, the law of cause and effect or the law of consequences. Dean got his “life degree” from the school of hard knocks, at a time when he did not understand this law. He sowed evil and destruction…and he reaped evil and destruction.

Is the Best Truly Behind America?

I was two years old when man first landed on the Moon (obviously I don’t remember that moment), but I was old enough to catch and remember snatches of later missions on TV before the Apollo program was ended. Now, America has to hitch a ride to the international space station with the Russians. In those days, we were not afraid to dare to dream…or do. The hour is late. What do you want for America: greatness, or mediocrity?

Mary Sudovar: The Children at War

Mary Sudovar: The Children at War

Born in the early 20th Century, Mary has lived through a major depression, two World Wars, Korean War, Cold War, Bay of Pigs, Vietnam, Desert Storm, and war in Afghanistan, but most likely none of these prepared her for the war between her children. The plight of Mary Sudovar (with the court reigning over her life and estate), as her children wage a war that would break her heart, will be covered in the American Clarion. Don’t miss this heartbreaking story.

Squanto or Tisquantum teaching the Plymouth colonists to plant corn with fish.

A Special Instrument Sent of God

Governor William Bradford called him “a special instrument sent of God.” Of 102 Pilgrims that landed November 1620, only half survived till spring - then appeared Squanto. William Bradford wrote: “Squanto was a native of these parts…one of the few survivors of the plague…Squanto stayed with them and was their interpreter…He showed them how to plant corn, where to take fish and other commodities, and guided them to unknown places…”

Israeli PM Netanyahu Addresses the UN

In case you missed it yesterday, this is a video of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s speech to the United Nations General Assembly. Netanyahu is a true statesman among world leaders. Not only is he insightful, intelligent and articulate, he is one of the few leaders on the world stage today who unwaveringly recognizes evil, and has a backbone.

Just Another Bump in the Road

Just Another Bump in the Road

We have another great parody song from Rush Limbaugh and Paul Shanklin, debuting Thursday on Rush’s show. It’s modeled after one of my favorites from one of my favorites: “Another Brick in the Wall” by Pink Floyd, called “Another Bump in the Road” from the Obama Administration’s statement that the attacks on our embassies and murders of Americans overseas by Islamic jihadis was just a “bump in the road.”

Obama Lies, Supporters Clueless

Obama Lies, Supporters Clueless

As President Obama lies and tells the world that the attack that left Ambassador Stevens and three others dead was the result of a movie, we hear the truth. We hear that he knew within 24-hours that it was, in fact, a terrorist attack. He knew and he continued to lie. Why?
